Beyond the rainbow lie many secrets that only pure-hearted children can understand—the world of unicorns, painted by children, whose horns glow whenever they smile.
In the Valley of Violets—where gentle sunbeams filter softly through the treetops, illuminating the blossoms nestled at the forest floor amidst the green leaves—there dwells, within the pure waters of a crystal-clear river, a spirit named Clarión who guards the secrets of the earth.
It was the place where all magical beings—from tiny Pegasi, baby dragons, fairies, and goblins to little magical witches—went to drink water; it was said that in those waters, lost unicorns were often rescued and helped. One full-moon night, while everyone slumbered, the wind whispered in a different way; it carried news, and its sound heralded something mysterious…

A unicorn—and its colors—had gone missing! All the magical beings were terrified; this was truly dire. What would happen? If it didn’t return soon, it would vanish completely. And the same thing could happen to all of them—how frightening!—they would disappear entirely. A wave of sadness was just about to wash over them when…
Suddenly, a little giggle was heard from the rainbow’s arch, bringing back a glimmer of hope—*hee, hee, hee!* «Leaping snails!» It was a little girl named Victoria—with lovely hair and beautiful eyes—gazing in wonder at that gorgeous place; she wore a strawberry-patterned dress and a radiant smile as she passed by. «Dancing waters!» Her smile seemed to light up the place even more. The little girl carried a small canvas satchel featuring a drawing of a smiling violet unicorn; there was a hole in the bag through which her little friend had peeked out. She also carried a mirror, a comb, and colorful ribbons used to style the hair of her tiny unicorn, whose little horn was just beginning to sprout.
Victoria, just three years old, didn’t say much; she simply smiled, and her beautiful smile captivated everyone. «What a lovely little girl!» the elves exclaimed, while the tiny fairies whispered, «Could she be an enchanted princess?»
All the magical creatures approached cautiously so as not to startle her. Finally, a hummingbird—one that could read and interpret pure hearts—drew near slowly and asked, «Little princess, is there anything we can help you with?» She replied, «Yes, I’ve lost my Morita. I followed the trail all the way here…» She yawned. «Mmm… I love him so much. My older cousin got angry with me; she wanted to keep Morita—my unicorn. Mommy gave him to me when I was tiny, but there was a hole in my bag. She told me to walk, and…»
«Oh no, oh no… Morita fell out, and I can’t see him anymore. Ever since that day, I’ve carried his comb, his mirror, and his colorful ribbons, and I cry—*boo-hoo, boo-hoo*.» «Don’t cry anymore, Princess,» said the hummingbird. «We’ll find Morita right away and sew up your little bag so he doesn’t fall out again.»
And all the magical beings—fairies, elves, gnomes, little birds, and even the ladybugs flying low—set to work to find Morita. Then Nita the fairy shouted, «He’s right here! Asleep in the Star Tree.»
There lay the unicorn named Morita; having lost his way, he had also lost his beautiful colors and had gone into hiding, feeling sad. A butterfly carried little Princess Victoria up to where Morita—now colorless—was resting.
¡Precioso mi Morita he traído tu peine y tu listón!
«My lovely Morita, I’ve brought your comb and your ribbon!» The little unicorn smiled; then the generous rainbow drew near and painted him in many colors once again. Little Victoria smiled at him and gifted the rainbow a beautiful mirror; grateful for having repainted Morita, the rainbow happily accepted the gift.
She yawned and hugged him lovingly; the ladybugs and forest fairies had already sewn her little pouch and even painted a picture of little Victoria together and happy with her lovely unicorn, Morita—and now, both of them had beautiful violet-colored hair.
Then the lovely hummingbird spoke: «Princess Victoria, you must return home; dawn is breaking. We will always be in your dreams and in your heart. We will look after Morita, and you—keep being little Victoria, the fairy of innocence.»
She said an affectionate goodbye to everyone, yawned once more, and closed her eyes…
Now it was time to wake up in her own little bed at home with Mommy, happily hugging her beloved Morita.
