• PREMIO ALFAGUARA DE NOVELA Otorga: Editorial Alfaguara Año de creación:1965 Año de última entrega:2021. Este premio en lengua castellana desde su creación se siguió convocando hasta 1972. • PREMIO BIBLIOTECA BREVE DE NOVELA Otorga: Editorial Seix Barral Año de creación: 1958 Año de última entrega: 2021. El 14 de Junio de 1958 se fallaba en Sitges el primer Premio en lengua española. Los rasgos distintivos de este premio respecto a los otros que entonces se fallaban y hoy se fallan en el ámbito hispánico, se desprenden de declaraciones que en ocasión de aquel primer veredicto, emitieron los miembros del jurado: «la principal misión del premio es estimular a los escritores jóvenes para que se incorporen al movimiento de renovación de la literatura europea actual» (Victor Seix), «la obra premiada debería contarse entre las que delatan una auténtica vocación renovadora o entre las que se presumen adscritas a la problemática literaria y humana estrictamente de nuestro tiempo» (Carlos Barral). En 1972 el premio dejó de convocar pero su recuerdo y prestigio se han mantenido. Cuarenta años después de su primera convocatoria, en 1999, la Editorial Seix-Barral volvió a convoca con la voluntad decidida de encontrar la novela que mejor encarne el espíritu de nuestro tiempo y prolongue así la historia viva de la literatura española e hispanoamericana. BRIEF NOVEL LIBRARY AWARD Awarded: Editorial Seix Barral Year of creation: 1958 Year of last delivery: 2021. • PREMIO PRIMAVERA DE NOVELA Otorga: Editorial Espasa Calpe y Ámbito Cultural Año de creación:1997 Año de última entrega: 2021. Premio que toma su nombre de la estación en la que se anuncia el fallo. La dotación en 2007 era de 200.000 euros y publicación para el ganador, y 30.000 euros y publicación para el finalista, ambas cantidades en concepto de adelanto de derechos de autor. A hoy se ha eliminado el premio para el finalista y la dotación es de 100.000 euros. Se entrega en marzo del año siguiente a su convocatoria. SPRING NOVEL AWARD Awarded: Editorial Espasa Calpe and Ámbito Cultural Year of creation: 1997 Year of last delivery: 2021. Award that takes its name from the station in which the ruling is announced. The endowment in 2007 was 200,000 euros and publication for the winner, and 30,000 euros and publication for the finalist, both amounts in advance of copyright. • PREMIO FRANCISCO UMBRAL AL LIBRO DEL AÑO Otorga: Fundación Francisco Umbral Año de creación: 2012 Año de última entrega: 2021. Con el fin de estudiar, divulgar y preservar la obra literaria y periodística del escritor Francisco Umbral, fallecido en 2007, el 12 de enero de 2009 nació la fundación bajo el mismo nombre. En reconocimiento a la mejor creación literaria del año escrita en castellano, la Fundación instaura en el 2011 el Premio Francisco Umbral al Libro del Año, que pretende convertirse en el equivalente al Premio Goncourt de las letras francesas. Este galardón es otorgado a principios de año y tiene en consideración las obras editadas entre el 1 de enero y el 31 de diciembre de cada año. Al ganador se le otorgan 12.000 € y una escultura de bronce de Alberto Corazón. FRANCISCO THRESHOLD AWARD FOR THE BOOK OF THE YEAR Awarded: Fundación Francisco Umbral Year of creation: 2012 Year of last delivery: 2021. In order to study, disseminate and preserve the literary and journalistic work of the writer Francisco Umbral, who died in 2007, On January 12, 2009, the foundation under the same name was born. Este premio se otorga desde el año 1987 y se conceden a la excelencia literaria de una novela, entre otras categorías, publicada el año anterior a la concesión del galardón y que haya sido propuesta por algún miembro de la asociación. Se falla de manera bienal y el premio consiste además de un considerable prestigio, en una medalla de oro entregada por la Reina de Dinamarca. HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN AWARD Awarded: International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) Year of creation: 1956 Year of last delivery: 2020. This award is considered the highest award in children’s and young adult literature and is awarded in recognition of the exceptional contribution to this type of literature. It is judged biennially and the award consists in addition to considerable prestige, in a gold medal awarded by the Queen of Denmark.
• PREMIO L· H CONFIDENCIAL Otorga: Biblioteca La Bòvila Año de creación:2007 Año de última entrega:2020 Este premio es otorgado a la mejor novela negra presentada a concurso y es convocado anualmente por la Biblioteca La Bòvila y la editorial Roca. El premio está galardonado con 12000 euros y la publicación de la novela en la colección Roca Criminal. L · H CONFIDENTIAL AWARD Awarded by: La Bòvila Library Year of creation: 2007 Year of last delivery: 2020. This award is given to the best crime novel presented in the competition and is convened annually by the La Bòvila Library and the Roca publishing house. • PREMIO REINA SOFÍA DE POESÍA IBEROAMERICANA Otorga: Universidad de Salamanca y Patrimonio Nacional Año de creación:1992 Año de última entrega:2020. Este Premio Reina Sofía de Poesía Iberoamericana premia anualmente al conjunto de la obra poética de una autor, considerada de especial relevancia para la cultura común. Los candidatos a los premios son propuestos por varias instituciones, como las distintas Academias de la Lengua y también desde el ámbito universitario. El premio está dotado con 42000 euros. REINA SOFÍA AWARD OF IBEROAMERICAN POETRY Awarded: University of Salamanca and National Heritage Year of creation: 1992 Year of last delivery: 2020. This Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry annually rewards all the poetic work of an author, considered of special relevance for common culture. Candidates for the awards are proposed by various institutions, such as the different Language Academies and also from the university level The award is endowed with 42,000 euros.
• PREMIO AZORIN DE NOVELA Otorga: La Diputación provincial de Alicante Año de creación:1994 Año de última entrega: 2021 La diputación provincial de Alicante y la Editorial Planeta llegaron a un acuerdo con el ánimo de potenciar este premio firmado en marzo de 1994, cuyo primer objetivo de esta nueva etapa del galardón era situarlo entre los premios de mayor importancia de habla hispana que se otorga a novelas originales e inéditas en español. AZORIN NOVEL AWARD Awarded: The Alicante Provincial Council Year of creation: 1994 Year of last delivery: 2021. The Alicante Provincial Council and Editorial Planeta reached an agreement with the aim of promoting this award signed in March 1994, whose first objective of this new stage of the award was to place it among the most important Spanish-speaking awards given to original and unpublished novels in Spanish.

• PREMIO HACHE Otorga: Ayuntamiento de Cartagena Año de creación:2009 Año de última entrega:2020 Se trata de un premio dedicado a la literatura juvenil. El jurado está formado por decenas de jóvenes cuya edad oscila entre doce y catorce años. El premio tiene una dotación económica de 3000 euros y una estatuilla conmemorativa. HACHE AWARD Awarded: Cartagena City Council Year of creation: 2009 Year of last delivery: 2020. It is an award dedicated to youth literature. La cuantía económica del premio es de 50.000 libras. INTERNATIONAL MAN BOOKER AWARD Awarded: Grupo Man Year of creation: 2005 Year of last delivery: 2021 The International Man Booker Prize is one of the most prestigious English-speaking literary prizes and is awarded to the entire career of a living author whose work is available in the English language. Este premio fue creado a partir de las últimas voluntades del editor periodístico Joseph Pulitzer y sólo pueden acceder al premio aquellos escritores que posean la nacionalidad estadounidense. This award is given annually by the Crime Writers’ Association for the best crime novel. Este premio de literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe Juan Rulfo es otorgado por los escritores de cualquier género de la literatura originarios del América Latina o del Caribe que se expresen en español, portugués, francés o inglés. JUAN RULFO LITERATURE AWARD (FIL DE LITERATURA) Awarded: Guadalajara International Book Fair Year of creation: 1991 Year of last delivery: 2021. This Juan Rulfo Prize for Latin American and Caribbean literature is awarded by writers of any genre of literature originating from Latin America or the Caribbean who express themselves in Spanish, Portuguese, French or English.
• PREMIO HUGO Otorga: La Asociacion Mundial de Ciencia Ficción (WSFS) Año de creación:1953 Año de última entrega:2020 El Premio Hugo de novela se entrega a obras de literatura fantástica, normalmente de ciencia ficción, desde 1953. Los premios se entregan anualmente en la Wolrdcon, la convención mundial de literatura fantástica. La obra ganadora se elige por los votos de los miembros de la Asociación y de aquellos asistentes a la convención que hayan abonado una tasa. No tiene dotación económica pero si se otorga a los ganadores una estatuilla conmemorativa. HUGO AWARD Awarded: The World Science Fiction Association (WSFS) Year of creation: 1953 Year of last delivery: 2020. The Hugo Prize for novels has been awarded to works of fantastic literature, usually science fiction, since 1953. • PREMIO NACIONAL DE POESÍA DE ESPAÑA Otorga: Ministerio de Cultura Año de creación:1924 Año de última entrega:2015. Este premio ha pasado por distintas etapas desde su creación en 1922 como Concurso Nacional de Literatura. Desde entonces hasta 1987 recibió distintas denominaciones, incluyendo la integrada dentro del Premio Nacional de Literatura. El premio se otorga a obras publicadas en el año anterior a su convocatoria en cualquiera de las lenguas del Estado Español y tiene una dotación económica de 15.000 euros. NATIONAL POETRY AWARD OF SPAIN Awarded: Ministry of Culture Year of creation: 1924 Year of last delivery: 2015. This award has gone through different stages since its creation in 1922 as the National Literature Competition. From then until 1987 it received different names, including the one integrated into the National Prize for Literature. The award is given to works published in the year prior to its announcement in any of the languages ​​of the Spanish State and has a financial prize of 15,000 euros.

Es un premio dedicado a la literatura fantástica, premiando a la mejor novela dentro del campo de la ciencia-ficción, fantasía o terror. Tiene una dotación económica de 10.000 euros. El jurado del premio se compone por el ganador del año anterior, autores de renombre y delegados de la editorial Planeta/Minotauro. MINOTAUR AWARD OF SCIENCE FICTION, FANTASY AND TERROR Awarded: Editorial Minotauro Year of creation: 2004 Year of last delivery: 2021. It is an award dedicated to fantastic literature, rewarding the best novel in the field of science fiction, fantasy or horror. • PREMIO NACIONAL DE ENSAYO DE ESPAÑA Otorgar: Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte de España Año de creación:1976 Año de última entrega:2015 Este premio, antes integrado dentro del Premio Nacional de Literatura hasta 1976 premia al mejor ensayo publicado por un español en alguna de las lenguas oficiales del estado durante el año anterior a su concesión. • PREMIO FERNANDO LARA DE NOVELA Otorga: Fundación José Manuel Lara Año de creación:1996 Año de última entrega:2021. En el año de 1996 se otorgó por primera vez el Premio de Novela Fernando Lara, convocado por la Fundación José Manuel Lara y Editorial Planeta. El premio lleva el nombre del hijo menor de don José Manuel Lara Hernández quien fuera consejero delegado del Grupo Planeta hasta su fallecimiento en agosto de 1995. En su primera edición alcanzó un alto nivel de participación con 340 novelas presentadas. Tiene una dotación económica de 120,000euros. FERNANDO LARA NOVEL AWARD Granted: José Manuel Lara Foundation Year of creation: 1996 Year of last delivery: 2021. In 1996, the Fernando Lara Novel Prize was awarded for the first time, organized by the José Manuel Lara Foundation and Editorial Planeta. • PREMIO CAFÉ GIJÓN Otorga: Ayuntamiento de Gijón Año de creación:1950 Año de última entrega:2020 Este premio fue convocado por primera vez en 1949 a partir de la famosa tertulia del madrileño Café Gijón, a partir de 1955 hasta 1975 fue el Café el encargado de realizar el premio. Ya en los años 80 el premio casi desaparece por completo hasta que fue recuperado en 1989 por el Ayuntamiento de Gijón. Tiene una dotación económica de 20.000 euros, el Premio Café Gijón está dedicado a la novela, aunque en su origen se planteó como un premio para la novela corta. CAFÉ GIJÓN AWARD Granted: Gijón City Council Year of creation: 1950 Year of last delivery: 2020 this award was convened for the first time in 1949 from the famous gathering of the Madrid Café Gijón, from 1955 to 1975 the Café was in charge of carrying out the award. Este premio es uno de los galardones más prestigiosos del mundo dedicados a las letras, siendo uno de los cinco premios originales que Alfred Nobel consignó para que la Academia Sueca otorgara como parte de su legado.   El Nobel de Literatura se concede a un autor cuya obra haya sido significativa y destacada y su dotación asciende a los ocho millones de coronas suecas, algo menos de un millón de euros. Su importancia mediática hace que su entrega anual, el primer jueves de octubre, se convierta en uno de los momentos más importantes del calendario literario. A lo largo de la historia del premio, que se inició Sully Prudhomme, han sido galardonados entre otros grandes clásicos de la literatura. NOBEL PRIZE FOR LITERATURE Awarded: Swedish Academy Year of creation: 1901 Year of last delivery: 2020. This award is one of the most prestigious accolades in the world dedicated to letters, being one of the five original awards that Alfred Nobel consigned for the Swedish Academy to award as part of his legacy. • PREMIO GEORG BÜCHNER Otorga: Academia Alemana de la Lengua y la Literatura Año de creación:1951 Año de última entrega:2016. Este premio fue creado en 1923 y está considerado como uno de los más prestigiosos en lengua alemana. Tiene claramente dos épocas, una más localista, de 1923 a 1950, y otra desde 1951 hasta la actualidad en la que la Academia Alemana de la Lengua y la Literatura se encarga de premiar la carrera de un autor y cuenta con una dotación económica de 40.000 euros. GEORG BÜCHNER AWARD Awarded: German Academy of Language and Literature Year of creation: 1951 Year of last delivery: 2016. This award was created in 1923 and is considered one of the most prestigious in the German language. It clearly has two eras, one more local, from 1923 to 1950, and another from 1951 to the present, in which the German Academy of Language and Literature is in charge of awarding an author’s career and has an economic endowment of 40,000 euros.
• PREMIO PLANETA DE NOVELA Otorga: Editorial Planeta Año de creación:1952 Año de última entrega:2020 José Manuel Lara, animado por el deseo de promocionar a los autores españoles un Premio de Novela dotado con 40.000 pesetas de las antiguas españolas. • PREMIO INTERNACIONAL DE NOVELA RÓMULO GALLEGOS Otorga: CELARG Año de creación:1967 Año de última entrega:2020. Este premio se fundó en 1964 como homenaje al escritor venezolano. Inicialmente restringido a latinoamérica, en 1990 se tomó la decisión de ampliar la convocatoria a todas las obras en Español y esta considerado uno de los más importantes del ámbito hispano, grandes autores han recibido el premio. Dotado económicamente con 100.000 euros y dicho premio se otorga durante el aniversario de Rómulo Gallegos, el 2 de Agosto. RÓMULO GALLEGOS INTERNATIONAL NOVEL PRIZE Awarded: CELARG Year of creation: 1967 Year of last delivery: 2020. Este premio nacional de literatura está organizado por el Ayuntamiento de Zafra, localidad de origen de Dulce la escritora, y la Asociación Extremeña de Escritores con el apoyo del Seminario Humanístico de Zafra. Este premio tiene una dotación económica de 9000 euros y la escultura El Abrazo, del artista Iñaki Martínez y se otorga a obras en castellano originalmente publicadas e impresas durante el año anterior al certamen, con preferencia para aquellas que no hayan sido reconocidas con otro galardón. Durante sus primeros años se otorgaba con una periodicidad anual, sin embargo, debido a la crisis, a partir de 2011 se entrega cada dos años. DULCE CHACÓN DE NARRATIVA ESPAÑOLA AWARD Granted: Department of Culture of the Zafra City Council Year of creation: 2004 Year of last delivery: 2015.This national literature award is organized by the City Council of Zafra, the town of origin of Dulce la Escritores, and the Extremadura Association of Writers with the support of the Humanistic Seminary of Zafra. • PREMIO ADONÁIS DE POESIA Otorga: Ediciones RIALP Año de creación:1943 Año de última entrega:2018. Este premio esta considerado como uno de los premios de poesía más prestigiosos en lengua castellana siendo uno de los objetivos la promoción de nuevos autores dentro del panorama de la poesía hispana, por lo que se limita la edad de participación a 35 años. Tanto el ganador como los accésits del premio son premiados con la publicación al año siguiente del fallo en la editorial RIALP. El ganador recibe, además, una estatua realizada por Venancio Blanco. ADONÁIS DE POESIA AWARD Awarded: RIALP Editions Year of creation: 1943 Year of last delivery: 2018.
