La ironía resulta evidente.

The irony is clear.

Ahora bien, debemos aclarar algo: la llamada de Georgia está documentada, pero eso no significa que exista una condena penal por fraude electoral derivada de aquella conversación ni que Schumer tenga derecho a cobrar la recompensa.

Now, we must clarify something: the call regarding Georgia is documented, but that does not mean there is a criminal conviction for electoral fraud stemming from that conversation, nor does it mean that Schumer is entitled to claim the reward.

Lo que sí existe es una contradicción política que merece examinarse.

What does exist, however, is a political contradiction that deserves examination.

Porque resulta interesante que quien insiste en denunciar irregularidades electorales haya protagonizado una conversación en la que solicitó encontrar exactamente los votos necesarios para revertir su derrota.

It is, after all, quite notable that someone who insists on denouncing electoral irregularities was himself a participant in a conversation in which he asked for exactly the number of votes needed to overturn his own defeat.
