PUERTO RICO: Keishla Rodriguez, sad outcome of an extramarital love.

Era la mañana del jueves 29 de Abril 2021 en que la joven Keishla  Rodríguez Ortíz de 27 años no se reportará a su trabajo y ni tan siquiera respondiera los mensajes de su dispositivo móvil, se le reportó como desaparecida, activando de inmediato la alerta rosa tras su desaparición.

It was the morning of Thursday, April 29, 2021, when the 27-year-old Keishla Rodríguez Ortíz will not report to her work and did not even respond to the messages from her mobile device, she was reported as missing, immediately activating the pink alert after your demise.

Se trata de un hecho que ha causado gran conmoción en todos los rincones de la Isla de Puerto Rico, así como en la Prensa de los Estados Unidos, desde donde han seguido el caso de cerca: The New York Times, ESPN, Daily Beast, entre otros tras conocerse que está involucrado el boxeador, Félix «El Diamante» Verdejo.

It is a fact that has caused great commotion in all corners of the Island of Puerto Rico, as well as in the United States Press, from where the case has been closely followed: The New York Times, ESPN, Daily Beast, among others after learning that the boxer, Félix «El Diamante» Verdejo, is involved.

Keishla Rodriguez, pareja extramarital de más de 10 años del boxeador, que según Indica la madre de la víctima, que Félix Verdejo la amenazó para que no tuviera a su bebé, luego de   que ella le dijera que estaba embarazada de él fruto de esa relación.

Keishla Rodriguez, the boxer’s extramarital partner of more than 10 years, who according to the victim’s mother indicates that Félix Verdejo threatened her not to have her baby, after she told him that she was pregnant by him as a result of that relationship .

Por otra parte, el comisionado de la Policía, Antonio López Figueroa, dijo en conferencia de prensa el pasado viernes que Félix Verdejo era una persona de interés en el caso, tras la desaparición de la joven cuyo auto de su propiedad fuera encontrado en un paraje que según las autoridades se presta para la desaparición y quema de autos.

On the other hand, the Police Commissioner, Antonio López Figueroa, said at a press conference last Friday that Félix Verdejo was a person of interest in the case, after the disappearance of the young woman whose car of her property was found in a place which according to the authorities lends itself to the disappearance and burning of cars.

Felix Verdejo, fue llevado por primera vez para ser interrogado por la Policía de Puerto Rico el mismo viernes 30 de abril de 2021,  como “persona de interés” en la desaparición de Keishla Marlen Rodríguez, de 27 años, desaparecida el jueves”.

Felix Verdejo, was taken for the first time for questioning by the Puerto Rico Police on the same Friday, April 30, 2021, as a “person of interest” in the disappearance of Keishla Marlen Rodríguez, 27, who disappeared on Thursday ”.

Hasta el sábado 1 de mayo 2021, las autoridades no tenían en sí nada claro de interés, pero Félix Verdejo no aportó luz en las preguntas del interrogatorio al que fué sometido, aunque si fué acompañado de sus abogados y la familia de Keishla en todo momento lo señalaba como el responsable del suceso de la desaparición de la joven.

Until Saturday, May 1, 2021, the authorities did not have anything clear of interest in themselves, but Félix Verdejo did not shed light on the questions of the interrogation to which he was subjected, although he was accompanied by his lawyers and Keishla’s family at all times. He pointed out that he was responsible for the event of the disappearance of the young woman.

Así mismo trascendió que personas inescrupulosas se han dado a la tarea de hacer llamadas fraudulentas a la policía de Puerto Rico para indicar sobre el paradero de la joven Keishla. A su vez, muchas de esas llamadas de burlas, llanto y declaraciones falsas se presumen eran realizadas para confundir a la policía en la investigación. Sin embargo, la familia de Keishla clama porque aparezca viva la joven y la policía no obstante hilvanaba las pistas para conseguir a los responsables.

It also emerged that unscrupulous people have taken on the task of making fraudulent calls to the Puerto Rico police to indicate the whereabouts of the young Keishla. In turn, many of these teasing calls, crying and false statements are presumed to be made to mislead the police in the investigation. However, Keishla’s family clamored for the young woman to appear alive and the police were nevertheless stringing together the clues to find those responsible.

Durante el pasado sábado 1 de mayo de 2021, la policía de F.U.R.A. llegó a la Laguna San José (San Juan de Puerto Rico) adyacente al puente Teodoro como a las 12:45 del mediodia, en donde divisaron un cuerpo flotando en los manglares de la laguna San José, (San Juan, Puerto Rico,) adyacente al puente Teodoro Moscoso y que pasadas las 5pm aún no había sido retirado del agua el mismo que a pesar de tener bloques para que se hundiera, flotó. Posteriormente, rescatado el cadáer, fue llevado a Ciencia forense para su identificación.

During last Saturday, May 1, 2021, the F.U.R.A. arrived at Laguna San José (San Juan de Puerto Rico) adjacent to the Teodoro Bridge at around 12:45 p.m., where they spotted a body floating in the mangroves of Laguna San José, (San Juan, Puerto Rico,) adjacent to the Teodoro Moscoso bridge and that after 5pm had not yet been removed from the water, the same one that despite having weights to sink it, floated. Later, the body was rescued, it was taken to Forensic Science for identification.

Ayer domingo 2 de mayo 2021 El Instituto de Ciencias Forenses confirmó según placas dentales, que el cuerpo hallado sin vida de una mujer encontrado cerca del puente Teodoro Moscoso se trata de la desaparecida Keisha Rodríguez. Triste descenlace luego que la familia de la joven denunciara su desaparición después que ésta no se presentara a trabajar en la peluquería de animales, donde laboraba desde hace cinco años.

Yesterday, Sunday, May 2, 2021, the Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed, according to dental plates, that the lifeless body of a woman found near the Teodoro Moscoso bridge is the missing Keisha Rodríguez. Sad descended after the young woman’s family reported her disappearance after she did not show up to work at the animal hairdresser, where she had been working for five years.

En horas de la noche el boxeador  Félix «El Diamante» Verdejo se entregó a las autoridades federales siendo puesto bajo arresto, tras ser delatado por presunto cómplice. Por lo tanto de ser encontrado culpable será acusado de secuestro, ‘carjacking’ y asesinato de Keishla Marlen Rodríguez Ortiz.

At night the boxer Félix «El Diamante» Verdejo surrendered to the federal authorities and was placed under arrest, after being denounced as an alleged accomplice. Therefore, if found guilty, he will be charged with the kidnapping, carjacking and murder of Keishla Marlen Rodríguez Ortiz.

Así mismo al cierre de esta edición se comenzaron a sumar las condolencias muy sentidas de familiares, allegados y diversas personalidades.
