Our hearts were full of sorrow, and while
men worked and made offerings
Others ate and drank and didn't see us go by,
among themselves, they spoke of the lost dove,
of the dove of peace.

Llegó el tiempo de las tormentas 
y las montañas cambiaron sus verdes por grises 
las nubes galopaban furiosas 
y cubrieron de oscuro la tierra. 

The time of storms has arrived
and the mountains changed their greens to grays
the clouds galloped furiously
and they covered the earth with darkness.

La paloma y yo seguimos volando lento 
volábamos sobre el país del trigo y la cebada, 
viñedos, higueras y granadas, y sobre  
la tierra de los olivos, que ya no manaba miel. 

The dove and I keep flying slow
We flew over the country of wheat and barley,
vineyards, fig trees and pomegranates, and above
the land of olive trees, which no longer flowed honey.

Cuéntame que ha pasado, blanca paloma 
y ella me contó cómo perdido el amor, 
recorría el mundo para unir a los hombres. 
¿Cómo? Le pregunté, y su respuesta fue lo que Isaías profetizó: 
“No alzará espada nación contra nación ni se adiestrarán más para la guerra” 

Tell me what happened, white dove
and she told me how she lost love,
He traveled the world to unite men.
How? I asked him, and his answer was what Isaiah prophesied:
"Nation will not lift up sword against nation nor will they train for war anymore"

Mil palomas blancas se nos unieron 
y seguimos volando, volando, surcando cielos… 

A thousand white doves joined us
and we continue flying, flying, crossing skies...
