Our brothers of another species

Leí esto por ahí hace algún tiempo e indudablemente coincido totalmente con este principio.

I read this out there some time ago and I undoubtedly fully agree with this principle.

Aunque afortunadamente existen muchos seres humanos que se preocupan, respetan y valoran a las diferentes especies que habitan el planeta y precisamente por ello hacen todo lo posible por crear y fomentar leyes que eviten se les vulneren sus derechos, también es evidente que a pesar de esto, ha aumentado la mala actitud de algunos en cuanto a la tenencia responsable, la explotación con fines económicos, el descuido, maltrato y abandono de los indefensos animales en diversos entornos.

Although fortunately there are many human beings who care, respect and value the different species that inhabit the planet and precisely for this reason they do everything possible to create and promote laws that prevent their rights from being violated, It is also evident that despite this, the bad attitude of some regarding responsible ownership, exploitation for economic purposes, neglect, mistreatment and abandonment of defenseless animals in various settings has increased.

¿Será que década tras década vamos perdiendo la sensibilidad, o peor aún, nuestros rasgos de humanidad?

Could it be that decade after decade we are losing our sensibility, or worse still, our traits of humanity?

Debemos ser conscientes de que ellos son seres vivos que al igual que nosotros tienen derecho a cohabitar la tierra en libertad, en un espacio acorde y propicio a sus necesidades como especie, a no ser maltratados, abusados o masacrados en pro de la maldad, el egoísmo, la avaricia o algunas costumbres culturales sin sentido que sólo fomentan en sus generaciones siguientes el irrespeto por la vida en cualquiera de sus formas.

We must be aware that they are living beings who, like us, have the right to cohabit the earth in freedom, in a space consistent and conducive to their needs as a species, not to be mistreated, abused or massacred for the sake of evil, the selfishness, greed or some senseless cultural customs that only foster disrespect for life in any of its forms in subsequent generations.

Los animales merecen ser protegidos, valorados, tratados con amor y compasión a sus vulnerabilidades, con el respeto que implica su derecho de seres vivos, creación de Dios, nuestros hermanos de otra especie.

Animals deserve to be protected, valued, treated with love and compassion for their vulnerabilities, with the respect that implies their right to living beings, God’s creation, our brothers from another species.

Seamos humanos, tolerantes, inteligentes, almas sensibles, pues  el caminar sobre dos pies, NO nos hace superiores. 

Let us be human, tolerant, intelligent, sensitive souls, because walking on two feet does NOT make us superior.
