Arroyo Ceballos and Gotasi Receive Prestigious Global Distinguished Leadership Award in New York

El creador multidisciplinar cordobés Francisco Arroyo Ceballos Y el Ecuatoriano Gonzalo Tayo Silva “Gotasi” (Precursor del movimiento Piramidismo Cromático) han recibido el prestigioso Global Distinguished Leadership Award, por su trayectoria y contribución a la paz a través del arte, en acto celebrado en el Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) en la ciudad de Nueva York durante el 81º periodo de sesiones de la Asamblea General de la ONU (UNGA 81) en el marco de la conferencia Global de Paz, Unidad y Desarrollo Sostenible.

Multidisciplinary artist Francisco Arroyo Ceballos (from Córdoba, Spain) and Ecuadorian artist Gonzalo Tayo Silva «Gotasi» (pioneer of the Chromatic Pyramidism movement) have received the prestigious Global Distinguished Leadership Award. They were honored for their careers and contributions to peace through art during a ceremony held at the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) in New York City, coinciding with the 81st session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 81) and the Global Conference on Peace, Unity, and Sustainable Development.

The presentation ceremony was attended by Ms. Ivonne A-Baki (former Ambassador of Ecuador to the United States and official candidate for the position of UN Secretary-General).

Dicho galardón es presentado por COJEP International (Organización acreditada ante la Organización de las Naciones Unidas) y Embajadores de la Paz de la ONU, liderados por el Embajador Dr. Hugues Sanon.

This award is presented by COJEP International (an organization accredited by the United Nations) and UN Ambassadors for Peace, led by Ambassador Dr. Hugues Sanon.

Entre los galardonados se encuentran personalidades de la talla de Karina Alomar (Magistrada de la Corte Suprema, Queens County), Alix Desulme (Alcalde de North Miami), Diego F. Muñoz (Presidente de la Cámara de Comercio Ecuatoriano-americana de New Jersey), E Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan (Presidente del programa de Juventud del primer Ministro, Gobierno de Pakistán), o Carmen R. Velasquez (Juez de la Corte Suprema de nueva York).

Among the honorees are distinguished figures such as Karina Alomar (Supreme Court Justice, Queens County), Alix Desulme (Mayor of North Miami), Diego F. Muñoz (President of the Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan (Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Government of Pakistan), and Carmen R. Velasquez (New York Supreme Court Justice).

Gotasi y Arroyo junto con el autor marteño José Domínguez  lleva años promoviendo su obra en Estados Unidos desde el proyecto 3.0 en espacios como son el Consulado General de Ecuador en Nueva York, el Union City Museum de New Jersey, la Fraser Mansion – Scientology National Affairs Office en Washington, el Essex County College de Newark, el Newark City Hall o más recientemente el Plainfield Performing Arts de New Jersey.

Gotasi and Arroyo, together with author José Domínguez (a native of Martos, Spain), have spent years promoting their work in the United States through the «Proyecto 3.0» initiative. They have showcased their work at venues such as the Consulate General of Ecuador in New York, the Union City Museum in New Jersey, the Fraser Mansion (Scientology National Affairs Office) in Washington, Essex County College in Newark, Newark City Hall, and, more recently, the Plainfield Performing Arts Center in New Jersey.

Recientemente  en acto celebrado en la ONU (Nueva York) por el 25 Aniversario de los derechos humanos y su difusión a través del Arte (20 congreso) Gotasi intervino como conferenciante y Arroyo Ceballos fue destacado por su labor artística de tantos años y proyectos a favor de la Paz, sobre todo desarrollados en Colombia con la organización «Arte sin Fronteras por la Paz» y en Nueva York con el Piramidismo Cromático.

Recently, at an event held at the UN in New York marking the 25th anniversary of human rights and their promotion through art (the 20th Congress), Gotasi spoke as a lecturer. Arroyo Ceballos was recognized for his long-standing artistic career and his peace-oriented projects—particularly those carried out in Colombia with the organization «Arte sin Fronteras por la Paz» (Art Without Borders for Peace) and in New York through «Piramidismo Cromático» (Chromatic Pyramidism).
