Let me tell you a story: The Fairy of the Crystal River

En las profundidades del bosque donde los hermosos prados son el hogar de bellos arboles de manzanos, naranjos, limoneros y otros ricos árboles frutales.

Deep in the forest, beautiful meadows are home to beautiful apple, orange, lemon, and other fruit trees.

Corre un gran rio cristalino, con el agua tan clara y trasparente que parece un espejo que refleja la belleza del cielo, es donde se deleita volar el hada guardiana de aquí para allá con su bello vestido tornasolado. ¡Agüitas saltarinas! en sus orillas hay piedritas chicas, medianas y grandes, grises, negras, verdosas, lamosas donde viven tantos diminutos seres vivientes y elementales del lugar, donde se puede ver volar libélulas con sus alas trasparentes.

A great, crystalline river flows, its water so clear and transparent it seems like a mirror reflecting the beauty of the sky. It is where the guardian fairy delights to fly back and forth in her beautiful iridescent dress. Jumping waters! On its banks are small, medium, and large pebbles, gray, black, greenish, and slimy, where so many tiny living beings and elementals of the place live, and where you can see dragonflies flying with their transparent wings.

Allí corre nuestro amigo el rio cristalino, tan trasparente que parece un enorme espejo reflejando el hermoso cielo azul, también viven allí animales y seres mágicos que se encargan de mantener la limpieza de este hermoso lugar al pensar tranquilos y serenos.

There flows our friend the crystalline river, so transparent that it looks like a huge mirror reflecting the beautiful blue sky. Animals and magical beings also live there, who are in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of this beautiful place by thinking calmly and serenely.

Todas las noches se observa el baile de las luciérnagas para anunciar que la noche ha llegado, y verifican la limpieza y trasparencia del rio. Una noche mientras todos dormían algo muy extraño empezó a suceder, como una pesadilla salida del bosque obscuro entre las sombras dos hombres malos llevaban consigo una sustancia ¡obscura y contaminosa!  para verterla en aquel cristalino rio, entonces un olor muy feo rodeaba en el ambiente.

Every night, the fireflies dance to announce the arrival of night, and they verify the cleanliness and transparency of the river. One night, while everyone was sleeping, something very strange began to happen. Like a nightmare emerging from the dark forest among the shadows, two evil men carried a dark and polluting substance with them to pour it into that crystalline river. A very unpleasant smell surrounded the air.

Una sustancia obscura, fea, pastosa poco a poco invadían un espacio de aquel bello rio.

A dark, ugly, pasty substance slowly invaded a space in that beautiful river.

Al otro día en cuanto alumbraron los primeros rayitos de sol, los habitantes vieron con tristeza que a su bello rio lo habían enfermado ¡Cielos! ¡Qué barbaridad todo era tristeza y dolor! Sus habitantes se pusieron muy triste y enfermaron también, su color cristalino ya no estaba más, la tristeza les invadió.

The next day, as soon as the first rays of sunlight appeared, the inhabitants sadly saw that their beautiful river had become sick. Oh my! How terrible! Everything was sadness and pain! Its inhabitants became very sad and also became sick. Its crystalline color was no longer there; sadness invaded them.

Había llegado la contaminación, – ¡que miedo y frustración! – entonces todos los elementales y los seres mágicos de ese lugar le cantaron al hada del rio para que viniera en su auxilio. ¡hada del rio cristalino! Venir, venir por favor y de la suavidad del viento se le vio volar. Preocupada observo la situación y en cuestión de unos minutos a todos reunía haciendo el gran llamado a todos los elementales del alrededor de aquel bosque mágico, el aire se sentía diferente lleno de energía potente y positiva.

The pollution had arrived—what fear and frustration!—then all the elementals and magical beings of that place sang to the river fairy to come to their aid. Fairy of the crystal river! Come, come please!—and in the gentleness of the wind, she was seen flying. Worried, she observed the situation, and within minutes, she gathered everyone together, making the great call to all the elementals around that magical forest. The air felt different, filled with powerful and positive energy.

Ella también pidió la energía de los pequeños y las pequeñas, que soñaron con ese bello bosque mágico para recibir positivismos, espontaneidad y alegría, y listos para mandarle energía para ayudar aquel rio enfermo.

She also asked for the energy of the little boys and girls, who dreamed of that beautiful magical forest, to receive positivity, spontaneity, and joy, ready to send energy to help that ailing river.

La hermosa hada ahora si llena de energía del amor de todos los habitantes de ese bosque mágico se concentraron para regresarle su belleza y limpieza al rio cristalino.

The beautiful fairy, now filled with the energy of the love of all the inhabitants of that magical forest, gathered together to restore the beauty and cleanliness of the crystalline river.

Entonces agradeció su gentileza y juntos se pusieron en acción y un viento. – ¡grande y potente, soplo y soplo fuertemente! – una y otra vez hasta que con aquellas ráfagas de energía comenzaron a limpiar, desapareciendo la contaminación y volvía a ser limpio y cristalino ¡agüitas saltarinas, que hermoso el rio cristalino lucia! dejando a unos pequeños duendes protectores del rio para cuidarlo nuevamente, de los humanos.

Then she thanked them for their kindness, and together they sprang into action. A wind—big and powerful, blew and blew strongly!—again and again, until with those gusts of energy they began to cleanse, removing the pollution, and it became clean and crystalline again. Jumping waters, how beautiful the crystalline river looked! Leaving behind some little elves, guardians of the river, to protect it from humans once again.

Nuevamente el equilibrio del bello bosque también se fortaleció. Ahora la bella hada del rio cristalino dejo en él un pequeño ajolotito de color rosa para que la mantuviera alerta de cualquier peligro.

Once again, the balance of the beautiful forest was strengthened. Now the beautiful fairy of the crystalline river left a small pink axolotl in it to keep her alert of any danger.

Ahora el hada se despide feliz en los aires se le ve viajar recordándole a todo el mundo que el agua de los ríos debemos de cuidar, que es un regalo preciado del cielo que debemos valorar. Regresando a el valle de los hongos donde descansan los hermosos girasoles.

Now the fairy bids a happy farewell to the air. She travels, reminding everyone that we must take care of the river water, that it is a precious gift from heaven that we should cherish. She returns to the valley of the mushrooms where the beautiful sunflowers rest.
