EDITORIAL: WORDS OF THE SOUL

A todos nuestros lectores en el mundo… A quienes nos siguen en el dia a dia, a todos aquellos «mis lectores» que desde el dia uno decidieron apostar por mis trocitos del alma plasmados en mis líneas, en mis letras. Quien suscribe la presente, María Piña Consejera Global Delegada de la Mujer de La Agencia Mundial de Prensa del Grupo Apcsx, miembro de este gran equipo profesional y humano del cual estoy orgullosa de formar parte. Quiero aprovechar la oportunidad, para daros las gracias de todo corazón a todos los que me dieron su voto y con el su confianza para ser galardonada como «La Mujer del Año 2022-2023» en los Grand Awards que realiza cada año LAMdP, mi eterna gratitud a todos y cada uno de ustedes que son quienes hacen posible que siga aprendiendo y creciendo en esta maravillosa aventura que tan feliz me hace: el periodismo y la escritura.

To all our readers around the world… To those who follow us on a daily basis, to all those «my readers» who from day one decided to bet on my bits of soul embodied in my lines, in my letters. Who signs the present, María Piña Global Delegate Counselor for Women’s Affairs of the World Press Agency of the Apcsx Group, member of this great professional and human team of which I am proud to be a part. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who gave me their vote and with their confidence to be awarded as «Woman of the Year 2022-2023» at the Grand Awards held every year by LAMdP, my eternal gratitude to each and every one of you who are the ones who make it possible for me to continue learning and growing in this wonderful adventure that makes me so happy: journalism and writing.

La noche del pasado viernes 20 de enero, asistí muy ilusionada a la II Gala de los Premios a la Cultura Memorial «José María Toro Sánchez» que entrega el Grupo de Información y Comunicación Blanco Sobre Negro, Onda Góngora, Terribles Creaciones y donde recibía el Premio Literatura 2022.

The night of last Friday, January 20, I attended the II Gala of the «José María Toro Sánchez» Memorial Culture Awards, presented by the White on Black Information and Communication Group, Onda Góngora, Terribles Creaciones and where I received the 2022 Literature Award.

Dicho acontecimiento, se llevó a cabo en el salón principal del Hotel Averroes, con un magnífico fondo andalusí. Asistí acompañada de mi familia y algunas amigas. Agradecida además a la boutique El Vestidor de Lulú por apostar por mi y vestirme así como a mi querida Olga Vázquez por peinarme.

This event was held in the main hall of the Hotel Averroes, with a magnificent Andalusian background. I attended with my family and some friends. Also grateful to the El Vestidor de Lulú boutique for betting on me and dressing me as well as my dear Olga Vázquez for doing my hair.

A la gala asistieron personalidades muy representativas de la cultura, la política y la sociedad cordobesa y entre ellos pudimos ver caras famosas como: Rafa de Vera o Paco Roma (Actores), Eles Bellido (Violinista), Gladys Rocking, Asun Barasona, Pastrana o Paco Marín (Músicos), Pedro Gallardo (Tenor), Paco Cerezo o Manuel Pineda (Emisoras radio), Maribel con su recién estrenada librería El Reino de Agartha, Elena Lechuga (Abogada) o Rocío Ferrón (Escritora y emprendedora). Así mismo, representantes de diversas instituciones locales o nacionales como Isabel Baena y José Antonio Romero (concejales del Ayuntamiento de Córdoba), Antonio Hurtado (Diputado por Córdoba en el Congreso) quienes fueron testigos de una noche con mucho arte conducida por la diseñadora Basi del Río y el productor Enrique Jaraba (Kike Terrible).

The gala was attended by very representative personalities of culture, Cordoba politics and society and among them we could see famous faces such as: Rafa de Vera o Paco Roma (Actors), Eles Bellido (Violinist), Gladys Rocking, Asun Barasona, Pastrana o Paco Marín (Musicians) Pedro Gallardo (Tenor), Paco Cerezo o Manuel Pineda (Radio stations), Maribel with her newly opened bookstore El Reino de Agartha, Elena Lechuga (Lawyer) or Rocío Ferrón (Writer and entrepreneur). Likewise, representatives of various local or national institutions such as Isabel Baena and José Antonio Romero (councillors of the Córdoba City Council), Antonio Hurtado (Deputy for Córdoba in Congress) who witnessed a night with a lot of art led by the designer Basi del Río and the producer Enrique Jaraba (Kike Terrible).

Before starting the big night and going up to receive the award, the winners, including me, posed at the photocall and I must say that for me it was a true honor to be on the list of winners along with such great and admired artists, among them: Pepe González Arenas, in photography; Basi del Río, Fashion Design; Lara Corrochano, Performing Arts; Two Worlds at War (Algaida), Book Cover; Javier López del Espino, Plastic Arts; InMemoriam, Music; Carol Lamor, Videoclip «La Habitación»; Dancerías de Aquel Trovar, Concert; Alexandra Ortiz «La Monicha», Flamenco; Neon Sunflower, Young; FINCIAS, 30 Days of Artistic Excellence; José Domínguez, 30 Days International Artistic Trajectory; Cristina Abella, I&C Artistic Trajectory; Crissial, ART TV Artistic Innovation and Elena Rizos from Hotel Averroes with the Special Award for Cultural Promotion 2022.

El acto se inició con la proyección de un pequeño recorrido por el trabajo que en estos cinco años ha ido haciendo el grupo desde programas para bsngongoratv a cortometrajes o documentales. A continuación, el director ejecutivo del Grupo José Manuel Rosario pronunció unas palabras de agradecimiento a todos por estar allí; recordó de forma breve la figura de José María Toro, agradeciendo la presencia de su hijo y su viuda; y dio paso oficial a los premios.

The act began with the projection of a small tour of the work that the group has been doing in these five years, from programs for bsngongoratv to short films or documentaries. Next, the executive director of the José Manuel Rosario Group gave a few words of thanks to everyone for being there; He briefly recalled the figure of José María Toro, thanking the presence of his son and his widow; and officially gave way to the awards.

«Fue una noche donde hubo derroche de cultura y arte, humanidad y emoción en las palabras de los premiados y yo no escapé a ello, porque recibir un premio siempre es motivo de satisfacción y alegría, un reconocimiento a tu esfuerzo y entrega por lo que haces y si lo recibes en tu ciudad, pues la gratitud se multiplica».

«It was a night where there was a waste of culture and art, humanity and emotion in the words of the winners and I did not escape it, because receiving an award is always a reason for satisfaction and joy, a recognition of your effort and dedication for what you you do and if you receive it in your city, then gratitude multiplies».

Dediqué el premio «a mi familia que es mi motor, a mis amigas y amigos que están siempre en las buenas y en las malas, en las duras y en las maduras, a mi gran amigo hasta el cielo Aeme Navajas, a mi pianista Juan Carlos Delgado (Brown) porque sin él mis versos no tendrían música y a todas las mujeres del mundo, resilientes, valientes, que nunca se dan por vencidas a quienes me debo y muy en especial, a mi madre y a mi hija» palabras del alma que pronuncié casi al borde de las lágrimas, ya que me embargaba la emoción y la gratitud.

I dedicated the award «to my family who is my driving force, to my friends who are always there through thick and thin, through thick and thin, to my great friend to heaven Aeme Navajas, to his pianist Juan Carlos Delgado (Brown) because without him my verses would not have music and to all the women in the world, resilient, brave, who never give up to whom I owe myself and especially, to my mother and my daughter» words from the soul which I pronounced almost on the verge of tears, since emotion and gratitude overwhelmed me.

Al finalizar la entrega de premios, pudimos disfrutar de la música.. de la actuación musical del grupo cordobés NEON SUNFLOWER.

At the end of the awards ceremony, we were able to enjoy the music… of the musical performance of the Cordovan group NEON SUNFLOWER.
