REFLECTION: WE ARE DUALITY

Todos somos una dualidad,  
We are all a duality,  
todos llevamos  
we all carry  
en el alma luz y sombra, 
in the soul light and shadow,
de alguna forma aprendemos a convivir con la alegría y también las cicatrices. 
somehow we learn to live with joy and also scars.

En nuestro transitar por esta senda de valles y montañas, de cielo azul y noches tormentosas, de celebración de vida y luto por las pérdidas, vamos forjando la experiencia, vamos creando una coraza que nos dé la fortaleza de existir.

In our journey along this path of valleys and mountains, of blue skies and stormy nights, of celebration of life and mourning for losses, we are forging the experience, we are creating a shell that gives us the strength to exist.

En nuestro efímero peregrinaje por la tierra, nos hacemos latido, nos eternizarnos un instante en los momentos felices, en el corazón o en el recuerdo de quienes fueron parte importante en nuestro corazón, dejamos un legado en nuestra descendencia (ojalá que sea una herencia positiva).

In our ephemeral pilgrimage through the earth, we become a heartbeat, eternalize ourselves for a moment in happy moments, in the heart or in the memory of those who were an important part of our heart, we leave a legacy in our descendants (hopefully it will be a positive inheritance ).

Todos en algún momento de nuestro vuelo, llevamos alas de predador o presa, según las circunstancias, la grandeza del águila, la sencillez del gorrión o la libertad de la golondrina.

At some point in our flight, we all carry wings of predator or prey, depending on the circumstances, the greatness of the eagle, the simplicity of the sparrow or the freedom of the swallow.

Para cruzar el cielo, bajo el sol de la alborada o la luna incierta del ocaso, se hace necesario el amor, (primero el propio), la fuerza de voluntad, el trabajo y la esperanza, el apoyo genuino de los seres más cercanos; así como también el actuar con respeto y sensibilidad ante el hermano, no dejar perder la escencia de nuestra humanidad aún con todo y las decepciones de la vida.

To cross the sky, under the sun at dawn or the uncertain moon at sunset, love is necessary (first one’s own), willpower, work and hope, the genuine support of the closest beings; as well as acting with respect and sensitivity before the brother, not letting lose the essence of our humanity even with everything and the disappointments of life.

La existencia nunca ha sido fácil… siempre habrá alegría, satisfacción, piedras y abrojos en el camino, pero no por ello se deja de fluir, la vida nunca se detiene… y con dolor o sin el, ella siempre nos conduce a algún destino.

Existence has never been easy… there will always be joy, satisfaction, stones and thistles along the way, but that doesn’t stop the flow, life never stops… and with or without pain, it always leads us to some destination.
