COLOMBIA: JAIME PUMAREJO HEINS WITH THE HIGHEST APPROVAL AMONG THE COUNTRY MAYORS

Jaime Pumarejo Heins, natural de Barranquilla, Administrador de sistemas de información, de la Universidad de Purdue, Indiana, USA con Maestría en Administración de Empresas con énfasis en finanzas, del Instituto de Empresas de Madrid, España. Fue Ministro de Vivienda en el 2017 y actualmente Alcalde de Barranquilla periodo 2020-2023 y quien a la fecha cuenta con un 78 % de aprobación a su desempeño .

Jaime Pumarejo Heins, a native of Barranquilla, Information systems administrator, from Purdue University, Indiana, USA with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, from the Madrid Business Institute, Spain, He was Minister of Housing in 2017 and currently Mayor of Barranquilla 2020-2023. and who to date has a 78% approval of their performance.

El alcalde de Barranquilla, Jaime Pumarejo Heins, se mantiene como el mandatario de mayor reconocimiento a su gestión de gobierno, entre las grandes capitales colombianas, de acuerdo con una encuesta realizada por el Centro Nacional de Consultoría.   

The Mayor of Barranquilla, Jaime Pumarejo Heins, remains the most recognized president of his government management, among large Colombian capitals, according to a survey conducted by the National Consulting Center.
 
Asimismo, Barranquilla mantiene el mayor porcentaje de habitantes encuestados que manifiestan que la ciudad va por buen camino, con 77 %.

Likewise, Barranquilla maintains the highest percentage of surveyed inhabitants who state that the city is on the right track, with 77%.

LOS RESULTADOS/THE RESULTS

En el primer lugar nos encontramos con el Alcalde de Barranquilla, con el 78% de aprobación, luego le siguen el alcalde de Cartagena con un 63 %, el de Medellín con un 58 %, la alcaldesa de Bogotá con 42 % y el alcalde de Cali con un 30 %.

En Barranquilla, la población entre los 18 y 25 años, y adultos mayores de 50 años son los que más aprueban el desempeño del alcalde Pumarejo Heins con un 80 y 86%, respectivamente.

Pumarejo Heins también tiene el nivel más bajo de desaprobación a la gestión, con 21 %, mientras Bogotá tiene 55%, Medellín 35 %, Cali 65 % y Cartagena 33 %.

La encuesta fue realizada de forma presencial en hogares, entre el 26 de noviembre y el 7 de diciembre.
