Al iniciarse la reactivación mundial de eventos de talla internacional, la organización de MISS AMERICA LATINA DEL MUNDO realiza su 34th versión en el hermano país de Republica Dominicana.

El Certamen MISS AMERICA LATINA DEL MUNDO®, fue creado con el propósito de unir en un solo evento a las mujeres latinoamericanas para fomentar la hermandad entre las naciones e incentivar la superación intelectual y profesional de las participantes. Las metas e ideales del certamen se mantienen hasta la fecha: destacar los valores de la mujer latina y sus esfuerzos de desarrollo por medio de los estudios superiores y a la vez colaborar con obras benéficas y la fomentación de la cultura y del turismo.

The MISS AMERICA LATINA DEL MUNDO® Contest, It was created with the purpose of uniting Latin American women in a single event to promote brotherhood between nations and encourage the intellectual and professional improvement of the participants. The goals and ideals of the contest remain to date: highlighting the values ​​of Latino women and their development efforts through higher education while collaborating with charities and promoting culture and tourism.

La empresa a cargo de la producción anual del Certamen Miss América Latina es de la Organización Miss América Latina, Inc., con su principal oficina situada en Miami, Florida, USA. La presidenta y Fundadora de esta Organización es Acirema Alayeto, quien cuenta con más de 40 años de experiencia en eventos y producciones de todo tipo, los últimos dedicados al género de los concursos de belleza.

The company in charge of the annual production of the Miss Latin America Pageant is the Miss Latin America Organization, Inc., with its main office located in Miami, Florida, USA. Gobiernos y compañías multinacionales han galardonado a esta Organización y a su presidenta por los loables objetivos que ha promovido a través de los años con su trabajo, como testimonian algunos de los reconocimientos otorgados. El primero y más antiguo certamen exclusivamente para la mujer latina en el mundo es el Certamen Miss América Latina, el cual se inició en 1981. El certamen anual de Miss América Latina se estableció en Miami, la «Puerta de las Américas», y se ofrecieron franquicias a nivel continental para enviar representantes a la competencia internacional. Estados de la unión norteamericana y países de América Latina participaron desde el comienzo en esta nueva red de certámenes con un total de 15 delegadas, cuyo número al siguiente año aumentó a 29. Este ya, prestigioso evento obtuvo una exitosa nueva dimensión con su primera producción fuera de los Estados Unidos de América. Para este año la sede será nuevamente en Punta Cana Republica Dominicana por la facilidad de acceso a todos los latinos.

Governments and multinational companies have awarded this Organization and its president for the laudable objectives that it has promoted through the years with its work, as evidenced by some of the awards granted. The first and oldest pageant exclusively for Latin women in the world is the Miss Latin America Pageant, which began in 1981. En el año 2010 obtuvo la corona de Miss America Latina para Colombia Carolina Lemus.

Hija de Jesús María Restrepo Correa y Sandra Patricia Henao Vallejo. Nacida un 23 de abril de 1.996, con 25 años de edad, de profesión Contadora Publica de la Universidad del Magdalena, Emprendedora en la industria de la Moda para diseños de vestidos de baño, participa como Líder de MUJER SAMARIA, un grupo de mujeres emprendedoras, capacitando a madres cabeza de hogar en cómo crear empresa y prosperar.

Daughter of Jesús María Restrepo Correa and Sandra Patricia Henao Vallejo. Born on April 23, 1996, with 25 years of age, by profession Public Accountant of the University of Magdalena, Entrepreneur in the Fashion industry for swimwear designs, participates as Leader of MUJER SAMARIA, a group of entrepreneurial women, training mothers who are heads of households in how to create a business and prosper.

Así mismo, ha liderado procesos relacionados con rescatar y promover el cuidado de las playas, la fauna y la flora en la ciudad de Santa Marta de su área de influencia.

Gracias a la vinculación y apoyo de la Gobernación del Magdalena, el señor gobernador Dr. Carlos Caicedo, quién tendrá el honor de hacer la imposición de la banda oficial y será coronada por Betty Peláez M, Directora ejecutiva del concurso en Colombia.
