The haughtiness

Cuántas veces se nos olvida que nada dura para siempre, nada es eterno, y menos las relaciones que no se cultivan. Cuántas veces, nos dejamos llevar por el ego y la altivez, adoptando esa postura de invalidar la actitud o el esfuerzo que hace cada uno en pro de una familia, de un hogar o una persona.

How many times do we forget that nothing lasts forever, nothing is eternal, and even less relationships that are not cultivated. How many times do we allow ourselves to be carried away by the ego and arrogance, adopting that position of invalidating the attitude or the effort that each one makes in favor of a family, a home or a person.

Qué fácil es herir, humillar y echar en cara lo que hacemos, tenemos, pagamos y gastamos…. Pero que difícil ofrecer una disculpa, pedir perdón y mucho más reparar las heridas, las fisuras que abrieron brecha en las relaciones.

How easy it is to hurt, humiliate and face what we do, have, pay and spend … But how difficult to offer an apology, ask for forgiveness and much more to repair the wounds, the fissures that opened a gap in relationships.

¿Por qué olvidar que somos efímeros, que lo que tenemos es un regalo de Dios y de la vida?

Why forget that we are ephemeral, that what we have is a gift from God and life?

¿Por qué la soberbia de creernos mejores que el prójimo sólo porque hemos tenido mejores oportunidades laborales, familiares o sentimentales?

Why the pride of believing ourselves better than others just because we have had better work, family or emotional opportunities?

¿Por qué perder la base de nuestra humanidad enalteciendo a la soberbia y el dinero?

Why lose the base of our humanity exalting pride and money?

El dinero es importante, necesario, hasta indispensable, pero no duerme el sueño de la eternidad junto a nosotros… en una tumba.
