ONCE UPON A TIME: THE ANT and the ELEPHANT.

     En la selva Lacandona donde los arboles gigantes entre lazados de leanas por donde quiera se ven colgar entre la maleza, lugar donde la humedad prevalecía, aunque no era tiempo de lluvia todavía; se encontraba una hormiga recolectora, en su pequeño lomo cargaba trocitos de hojas para el hormiguero, llamada por todos Ninguita, siempre muy trabajadora recolectaba semillas y pequeños trozos de hojas junto con sus hermanas.

Imponían bastante con solo verlo tan grande de color gris, con piel dura como la piedra, que se le iba a ser, no había de otra, pero el Mapache aun con miedo le pregunto ¿Por qué eres tan malo?¡Nada te hemos hecho! El elefante su trompa levanto, umh, umh, umh, yo soy el rey, inclinen su cabeza y hacia los animales pequeños se dirigió, cajum, cajum, cajum, ¡El Elefante gritó! ¡Inclinen su cabeza que voy pasando yo!

La Hormiga solo sonrió, entro a la trompa de aquel elefante y en medio de su trompa por dentro ¡Fuertemente se sujetó!¡Con sus pequeños dientes, los vellos le mordió y se los estiró!

Unas lágrimas de sus ojos brotaban ya, era terrible el dolor, ¡Que el Elefante gritaba ya! ¡Paren, paren, por favor, todo me duele ya!¡Y su trompa levantaba con gran desolación! Pero la Hormiga, por tercera vez insistió, mordiéndole nuevamente ¡Para causarle dolor! Hay, hay ¡Paren por favor, ya no aguanto más, es un dolor tremendo me voy a desmallar! La Hormiga por fin lo dejó, de su trompa salió, se le puso en frente y le pregunto ¿Por qué abusas de los demás? ¿Quién es ahora el rey? No Elefante no debes de ser así, todos somos importantes aquí, no es nuestro tamaño lo que nos hace respetar, es la forma de ser con los demás, el Elefante bajo la cabeza y acertó aun con sus orejas, que movió, ¡Una gran lección aprendí hoy! Desde ese día se escuchan grandes pisadas, cajum, cajum, cajum, el Elefante va a pasar con muchos Pajaritos, Ardillas, Mapaches y una Hormiga que en su lomo van paseando muy feliz, por la selva Lacandona que junto al Elefante se les ve pasear.
