Hace 12 años cuando renuncié a los Lideres del Deporte e inicié el Periódico de Cartagena en La Web -los puristas de los medios- o sea los que en esa época creían que el periodismo solo era en la radio, tv y prensa escrita de la ciudad -me tildaron de loco, que no tenía medio, que solo éramos faranduleros en Facebook-

Tengo 5 premios de periodismo 4 a nivel mundial y uno nacional y la R.H.W.C de la cual soy el Productor General, la misma que fue elegida mejor radio cultural a nivel internacional, así mismo, fuimos invitados al congreso Iberoamericano de Jefes de Estado, a la Cumbre Mundial Antidrogas y al congreso Mundial de Editores de Periódicos entre otros muchos eventos a los que hemos asistido, ¿Que tal si estuviera cuerdo?

Hoy veo con alegría que muchos periodistas y muchos medios usan las redes sociales para difundir sus contenidos. Qué se les pegó «la locura» y aquellos que hoy día siguen reacios a entrar en esta nueva era, están condenados a desaparecer.

Today I see with joy that many journalists and many media outlets use social networks to spread their content. What «madness» hit them and those who today are still reluctant to enter this new era, are doomed to disappear.

12 años en que hemos tenido alegrías, penas y muchas, pero que apesar de que aún tenemos enemigos que desde las sombras nos siguen atacando, tenemos reconocimiento ínternacional, logros que mostrar más allá de nuestras fronteras y crecimiento exponencial que nos dan la fuerza para seguir trabajando-aunque con las uñas- pero seguimos de pie.

12 years in which we have had joys, sorrows and many, but despite the fact that we still have enemies who continue to attack us from the shadows, we have international recognition, achievements to show beyond our borders and exponential growth that give us the strength to continue working-although with the nails-but we are still standing.

Hoy cerramos un ciclo pletórico de alegría después de 10 días de cubrimiento del Concurso Nacional de Belleza, donde fuimos atendidos con respeto, con profesionalismo, 10 días que compartimos con 29 chicas espectaculares en su forma de ser, de pensar de reír que con su amabilidad hacía nuestros medios nos dejaron ver que estábamos haciendo las cosas bien.

Today we close a cycle full of joy after 10 days of coverage of the National Beauty Contest, where we were treated with respect, with professionalism, 10 days that we shared with 29 spectacular girls in their way of being, of thinking of laughing that with their kindness made our media let us see that we were doing things right.
