De hecho, leía hace unos días en las redes cómo había gente en Latinoamérica organizándose para adquirir ejemplares del texto.

Alejándose de los escenarios por un año aunque si envió un mensaje para sus fans agradeciendo la preocupación y los buenos deseos para con ella. En su libro explica cómo vivió aquellos primeros momentos. Cómo personas de su entorno ni se atrevían a acercase ni sabían que decirle, o del rechazo que sintió cuando a consecuencia de la medicación empezó a hincharse y nadie la reconocía. Posteriormente en el 2005, Marie afirmó estar curada del cáncer, no obstante las consecuencias del tratamiento fueron devastadoras para ella ya que ahora tiene problemas de visión en el ojo derecho y de escucha en un oído, así mismo tenía problemas motores, de memoria y de orientación. Vuelve a los escenarios en el 2007 y en el 2011 con Roxette, en donde sus presentaciones son descritos como “un milagro”.

Es más, un posible retorno de la banda no debería sorprender a la audiencia ya que por lo visto basta con un acorde de sus canciones para que ella, olvide sus penas y suba al escenario a brillar.

Marie, vocalista del famoso grupo sueco “ROXETTE” luchaba contra el cáncer de cerebro, el mismo que poco a poco había deteriorado su salud desde hace años perdió la batalla lamentablemente el dia lunes 9 de diciembre por la mañana a la edad de 61 años en Suecia. Así lo confirmó su Gerente de Prensa Marie Dimberg mediante un comunicado: “Con gran tristeza tenemos que anunciar que uno de nuestros artistas más grandes y queridos se ha ido. Marie Fredriksson murió en la mañana del 9 de diciembre en las suites de su antigua enfermedad“. Así miso Per Gessle, por su parte también emitió un comunicado en donde lamenta la partida de su compañera de éxitos desde 1986 asi: “El tiempo pasa muy rápido. Parece que hace poco cuando Marie y yo nos sentamos en mi pequeño apartamento en Halmstad y compartimos sueños. ¡Y qué fantástico sueño tenemos para compartir! Gracias Marie, gracias por TODO (…) Las cosas nunca serán lo mismo“.
