COLOMBIA: «SIXTH VERSION OF MAGDALENA GROWS»

Ayer 11 de noviembre se abrió el telón del gran evento de «Magdalena Crece», evento empresarial más importante del Departamento, liderado por la Cámara de Comercio de Santa Marta para el Magdalena y que este año en su sexta versión, se tomo el sur de nuestro territorio con el municipio de El Banco como protagonista.

La actividad que en esta ocasión tiene como lema ‘Visión consciente hacia el Sur del Magdalena’, el mismo que reúne a representantes del ámbito empresarial, sí como personalidades locales y nacionales para reflexionar y dialogar en torno a temáticas propias de la región.

the same one that brings together representatives of the business field, as well as local and national personalities to reflect and dialogue around issues specific to the region.

El propósito del mismo es fomentar un trabajo conjunto e implementar una agenda estratégica con una visión, prospectiva, que con el desarrollo del evento busca promover la integración de importantes municipios del sur del territorio, así como los del país de Pocabuy: Magdalena, Cesar, Bolívar, integrados por los municipios de El Banco, Guamal, San Sebastián, Astrea, Chimichagua, Tamalameque, Altos del Rosario, Barranco de Loba, El Peñón, Hatillo de Loba y San Martín de Loba. Como ingrediente adicional, este año el evento se une al Encuentro de municipios del bajo magdalenense y país de Pocabuy: una región anfibia versión 2021, organizado por la Alcaldía de El Banco, entre el 11 y 13 de noviembre.

As an additional ingredient, this year the event joins the Meeting of municipalities of the lower Magdalene and the country of Pocabuy: an amphibious region version 2021, organized by the Mayor’s Office of El Banco, between November 11 and 13.

del Magdalena, por su connotación histórica y la relevancia que ha tenido en este país al ser la ciudad imperio de la cumbia, además del interés que tienen para avanzar en la reactivación económica. “Es de gran importancia esta gran alianza con la Cámara de Comercio, que bondadosamente vino a
esta región del sur con su evento Magdalena Crece, por las potencialidades que tiene este territorio,
un evento que conjuga tertulias, turismo, gastronomía, historia y diversos escenarios. Por eso, extendemos nuestra invitación a todos los magdalenenses, bolivarenses, atlanticenses y todos los colombianos a participar de este gran escenario”; manifestó.

Por su parte, el doctor Alfonso Lastra Fuscaldo, presidente ejecutivo de la Cámara de Comercio de Santa Marta para el Magdalena, indicó que este evento es un proceso de articulación, que busca descentralizar los servicios y la oferta institucional de la entidad, y que se ha enfocado en todas las potencialidades que tiene El Banco Magdalena y así fortalecer sus capacidades.

Magdalena Crece se inició ayer jueves 11 de noviembre a las 8:00 de la mañana, con un acto inaugural en el Auditorio del Centro Cultural María Montessori.

En primera instancia, hubo una presentación cultural denominada ‘Su emperatriz la cumbia en el país de Pocabuy’. Seguidamente, las palabras de instalación por parte de Roy García Sánchez, alcalde del municipio de El Banco; Alfonso Lastra Fuscaldo, presidente ejecutivo de la Cámara de Comercio de Santa Marta para el Magdalena y la doctora Ana María Palau, consejera presidencial para las regiones.

El primer conversatorio de la jornada se enfocó en la ‘Relevancia de la región del bajo Magdalenense y ciénaga de Zapatosa para Colombia: aspectos ambientales, culturales y económicos’, en el cual participan representantes del Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, del Ministerio de Cultura, de Corpocesar, Corpamag y de la Fundación Natura. Espacio moderado por el doctor Joaquín Viloria, experto sobre la región del Magdalena Grande y del Bajo Magdalena. La mañana continuó con el conversatorio: ‘Conectividad para el desarrollo del bajo del Magdalenense’. A las 3:00 p.m. y de manera simultánea, se ponen en marcha dos eventos: la Feria de Emprendedores con participantes de los municipios del bajo magdalenense y país de Pocabuy, en la Plaza de Los Dulces Justiniana La Ventera. Así mismo, en el auditorio del Centro Cultural María Montessori, la Conferencia para emprendedores, micros y pequeños comerciantes: ‘Volver a empezar: Liderazgo con propósito’.

El día uno cerró en el atrio de la catedral Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria desde las 6:00 de la tarde, con la tertulia ‘El placer de la mesa banqueña con gente interesante’, la cotidianidad de los pueblos del bajo magdalenense y país de Pocabuy: costumbres, leyendas, música y letras. Este espacio contará con el sociólogo y doctor en Historia Edgard Rey Sinning y John Carlos Pedrozo Pupo escritor y Gestor cultural.

Por su parte, la programación del día dos se inició a las 8:00 A.M con un recorrido por el bajo magdalenense y país de Pocabuy, que partió de la inspección fluvial. Mientras que en el auditorio del Centro Cultural María Montessori se realizaría la conferencia ‘Visión Consciente hacia el Sur del Magdalena’ a cargo Rasine Ravelo Méndez, economista y especialista en planeación y desarrollo urbano-regional sostenible. Luego, tendrá lugar el conversatorio: ‘La integración regional como estrategia de desarrollo competitivo/El Eje Cafetero como caso de éxito.
