EDITORIAL: CARTA ABIERTA ¡UN S.O.S. POR COLOMBIA!

EDITORIAL: OPEN LETTER AN S.O.S. FOR COLOMBIA!

Senén González Vélez.

To the congressmen of all political parties, to union and civil organizations, to regional governments, and to the media of Colombia and the world. Dear men and ladies of the country and the Colombian Caribbean. National and International Media, Trade Union and Civil Organizations, and friendly countries. Very distinguished compatriots and friends of freedom, democracy and respectful of the constitutions or the Magna Carta.

Today, through this editorial in «agony» mode, not to say supplication, I want to express my feelings and impressions with the greatest respect, but with firmness and national love, even if it costs me an unfortunate antipathy that could arise from being classified as an arrogant citizen of pretentious pretensions. Being unknown to many, I have had the audacity to assume an independent and voluntary spokesperson, apolitical by my own decision, to urgently ask you, Honorable Congressmen, for more action and results, with a punctual care of responsibility, character, independence and Homeland’s pain at the crossroads we are at in Colombia, in which democracy is put at stake in exchange for a progressive pseudo-left dictatorship, with very marked features of tyranny.

Colombia is in danger, honorable members of our Courts, Congressmen, reservist and active officers ready to save the Homeland. To you notable independent media. To the business and banking system. To the union and student organizations, who love and defend freedoms.

We are about to lose democracy, and trample on the rule of law. Therefore, interpreting the collective feeling, which is very cautious, worried, upset, and at the same time disappointed, I want to raise my voice of alarm so that it reaches the hearts of Latin American democrats, the impartial Human Rights commissions, the government of the United States in the hands of President Joe Biden and his Congress; to Mr. President Javier Miley of Argentina; to President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador; in general to all democrats opposed to pseudo-progressivism, to help us and provide us, from other scenarios, with moral support to face the situation that the country is experiencing. If it is not stopped in time, it could lead us to guerrillas, to horror or to terrorism itself, and/or to a living and faithful copy of others like Venezuela or Cuba, and why not, of Nicaragua, surrounded by corruption, destruction of democracy, and beliefs in a higher being, whether God for me, or the universe and energy for others.

–Investiguen.

It is very unfortunate to see the «laziness» of those who pull the strings of the governments, and even sadder the economic, social, coexistence and absolute poverty ruin, which alters citizen feelings, and that leads us to disaster when applying these tests that, despite having failed, they insist on continuing. There is only one reason: «Concentrate economic power in an egocentric and dictatorial ideology. That is when misery arises and wealth is concentrated in power.» It would be worth knowing, how many of the progressivism have left poor during their mandates? –Investigate.

Let us assume a firm position by resorting to the power of the Congress of the Republic to pursue a political trial against President Petro, as happened with the corrupt President Pedro Castillo of Peru, when all the evidence is clearly evident that his election at the first The State’s judiciary is tainted with nullity, having flagrantly violated the economic limits of the campaign it carried out, in addition to the obvious commitments it made, such as that of the La Picota Prison, to get votes.

See legal explanation in Google Semana Magazine https://www.semana.com/politica/articulo/petro-debe-ser-sancción-con-perdida-del-cargo-abogado-jose-manuel-abuchaibe-expone-argumentos-para -un-juicio-politico/202400/ in an interview with the eminent jurist who says: JOSÉ MANUEL ABUCHAIBE: «In May 2023 we filed a complaint for violation of article 109 of the Constitution, because it was proven that the president’s campaign had violated the limits, according to an audit report ordered by the National Electoral Council (CNE). Other monies that were used in the campaign have been appearing and that were not reported either. The violation of limits became an incontrovertible fact. Therefore, We are trying to open a political trial, different from the criminal one, so that what happened to Ernesto Samper, who said that everything went behind his back, does not happen. The political trial is objective, documentary to determine the loss of office once the violation of limits. “That is up to the House Impeachment Committee.” (See today’s post on social network X

Likewise, I attach this editorial below…

I invite all businessmen, civic and union leaders, all the living forces of citizens, to leave the apathy they have today, thinking that in Colombia it is not going to be the same as Venezuela, Cuba or Nicaragua. I formally invite all members of our Armed Forces and police of Colombia to reflect in favor of the Homeland and compliance with the Constitution and the Law, because you are invested to defend us, and not to receive orders from the tyrant who is on duty, and that weapons must always be guarantors of our freedom and our democracy and never at the service of tyrants.

Let us bring out the best of our historical tradition of brave men, who once fought for our independence, with enough courage to face invaders and pirates, and let us imitate them in these difficult moments that are coming to the Nation, reacting against this pseudo government. -Communist leftist of President Petro, who is on his way to total dictatorship, and whose actions within his administration are more chaotic, misguided and inept every day, to the total detriment of the country, which is slowly but steadily sinking towards debacle total, without direction but with the goal of turning it into a socialist nation, which is nothing other than pure and simple communism, like Cuba, like Venezuela or like Nicaragua.

Let us assume a defensive, peaceful opposition, resorting to the path of institutions, of the law. I repeat, peacefully. I reiterate it again. But leaving aside the indifference, the apathy that makes us equal to that of a stupid country about to die that kneels instead of standing, and never bows to the tyrant, to play the role of the sublime vassal, as has happened with those who sold their dignity “for a few dollars more.”

«I am a humble and simple Colombian, a Christian of FAITH, and a lover of social justice, but above all of equity, because I am uncomfortable with abuse and even more so with those who violate the laws. For that reason, I am terrified by the parsimonious way in which is carrying out the investigation in the Commission of Accusations of the House of Representatives, when several of its members are openly genuflexes and true and unconcealable followers of the government of the day, who without any shame, it seems that yes but no, they have in their hands the impeachment decision that would lead him to the unobjectionable departure from the power he acquired, for violating the Constitution and the law.»

The characteristic that distinguishes a just being is not taking ideology into account, so that good reason prevails in the application of justice. Justice must be blind, blindfolded, but not with a subtle and hidden hole to give in. Colombia deserves a justice that does not hesitate before power and that guarantees equity for all, without exception!

Cordial saludo,
Senén González Vélez.
