LET ME TELL YOU A STORY: Cat see you Mouse

Una tarde muy linda en una veterinaria, fue rescatado un gatito negro de ojos verdes, por una chica llamada Patricia, lo llevo abrazadito contemplando sus bigotitos y su pelaje negro suavecito que con su manita recorrió. Ella llevaba una hermosa sonrisa, el seria su compañía, ya que trabajaba todo el día y muchas veces sola se sentía. Al llegar a casa con mucho cuidado su gatito soltó, el gatito se sentía ¡maravillado! al ver esa casa toda para él, se sintió muy feliz, camino hacia una alfombrilla que encontró, rrr, rrr, rrr, ronroneo plácidamente junto con sus croquetas y agua que allí se encontró, tranquilo el gato observo un pequeño agujero en la pared que tapaba parte de una cortina, a un diminuto ratoncillo color blanco.

El gato lo observo, tan pequeño igual que el, se dijo para sus adentros, somos habitantes de esta misma mansión, el gatito sonrió y durmió, después de ese día los dos se hicieron amigos, todo el día ellos convivían, pasaban los días en ese lugar, con estos dos amigos particulares que jugueteaban sin parar ¡A que me atrapas! el ratón le gritaba al gato ¡Vamos inténtalo ya! ¡Soy más rápido que tú, ya lo verás! Despertaba aquel gato que ronroneaba, pero al verlo de aquí para allá con su risita que no lo dejaba descansar, el gato se paró y se puso a corretéalo por todo el lugar ¡ya verás ratón blanco como te atraparé, para que me dejes de molestar, aquel ratón se reía y más rápido corría, entre el suelo y las cortinas ¡Qué barbaridad! ¡En una de esas el hábil gato extendió su garra para atraparlo! ¡Que susto casi lo logra! pero se le safo, el ratoncillo se carcajeo, lero, lero, ya vez que más ágil soy yo, tocaron la puerta era Paty. Todo volvía a la calma, ella abría la puerta y exclamaba ¿Dónde está mi gatito negro, a ver, a ver? El gatito con su cola esponjosa las piernas le rodeaban y ella con gusto lo abrazaba, el gatito ronroneaba.

What a barbarity! In one of those the clever cat extended its claw to catch it! What a scare he almost did it! but he was released, the little mouse laughed, lero, lero, and now that I am more agile, they knocked on the door, it was Paty. Everything returned to calm, she opened the door and exclaimed, where is my black kitten, let’s see, let’s see? The kitten with its fluffy tail wrapped its legs around her and she hugged it with pleasure, the kitten purred.

El gato hacia muy bien su trabajo, era un buen vigilante no permitía que ningún otro animal a su casa entrase, siempre muy atento para cuidar ese lindo espacio llamado hogar, pero cuando ella no estaba la fiesta seguía ¡Eran los dos amigos, toda una algarabía! ahora, dijo el gato a que me escondo y no me encuentras ¡Le dijo a su amigo el ratón blanco y el mucho se rio! Va échale ganas, je, je, je, sabiendo que el gato era mucho más grande que él, su amigo le contesto, aquel ratoncillo blanco sus ojos tapo en un instante el gato negro salto y sin hacer mucho ruido atrás de la cortina se escondió, casi todo lo tapaba menos su cola esponjosa y grande que lo delataba, el ratoncillo sus ojos destapo ¡Ahora si no te veo, que bien te escondites! Y aguantándose las ganas de reírse, la cola esponjosa del gato se movía con gran precisión, de derecha a izquierda, que cola tan inquieta, el ratón le hizo al tonto, como que no lo veía hasta que, por un momento, el no resistió y con sus pequeñas patitas ¡La cola le atrapo! ¡Hay grito el gato! Los dos amigos se vieron entre risotadas, ellos se divirtieron, así pasaban los días en ese lugar con los tres habitantes en santa paz.

And holding back the urge to laugh, the cat’s fluffy tail moved with great precision, from right to left, what a restless tail, the mouse made a fool of it, as if it didn’t see it until, for a moment, it couldn’t resist and with his little legs, the tail caught him! The cat is screaming! The two friends saw each other laughing, they had fun, that’s how they spent the days in that place with the three inhabitants in holy peace.

Cuando Paty por algún momento llegaba enojada o estresada, estos dos animales le montaban ¡Un gran espectáculo! para que se distrajera. Cuando ella se sentó en su sillón triste en alguna ocasión, de repente veía al ratón pasar ¡Que susto! gritaba sin pensar hay gatito ¿Dónde estás? ¡Ven pronto! algo anda por allá ¡El gato negro salía corriendo como Superman! atrás de ese ratón blanco que a su ama inquietaba ya. Lo correteaba por toda la sala, por el desván y allí junto casi a la cortina, con su garrita de la cola lo apretaba ya. Lo aventaba hacia arriba con gran habilidad, lo atrapaba en el viento y lo sujetaba ya, aquel gato fingía su muerte con gran habilidad, se lo llevaba entre los dientes para que Paty no lo viera ya. Entonces ella sonreía de felicidad, sin saber que estos dos se divertían mucho de verdad. Pero todo pasa y la vida se va, a estos amigos nadie les dijo jamás que rivales tenían que ser. Estos amigos juntos envejecieron esta vez y en aquella alfombra donde el gato reposaba con su última mirada, a su amigo el ratón blanco le sonrió. Y el ratón le dijo mi querido gato nos vemos al ratón. Y los dos animalitos en el cielo de los animales juegan hoy.

Then she smiled with happiness, not knowing that these two really had a lot of fun. But everything happens and life goes away, nobody ever told these friends what rivals they had to be. These friends grew old together this time and on that rug where the cat rested with his last look, the white mouse smiled at his friend. And the mouse said my dear cat, see you to the mouse. And the two little animals in animal heaven are playing today.
