«Mi arribo a Dubái marcó el comienzo de un viaje encantador, me sentí envuelta en una sensación de magia y grandes expectativas por descubrir sus maravillas y experimentar el encanto de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos».

My arrival in Dubai marked the beginning of an enchanting journey as I felt enveloped by a sense of magic and great expectations. Now, on the other side of the world I find myself in one of the most populous and affluent cities located on the eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula overlooking the Persian Gulfand in one of the seven Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates (UAE), eager to uncover its wonders and experience the Dubai charm.

Los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU) es una federación de siete emiratos, con Abu Dabi como capital y Dubái como centro financiero. La población del país es de 9.591.853 habitantes, de los cuales una mayoría significativa (alrededor del 88,50%) está compuesta por expatriados, mientras que los ciudadanos de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos representan solo alrededor del 11,50%.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a federation of seven emirates, with Abu Dhabi as the capital and Dubai as the financial center. The country’s population is 9.591,853, with a significant majority (around 88.50%) comprising expatriates, while UAE citizens make up only around 11.50%.

A pesar de tener una gran población, los Emiratos son conocidos por ser uno de los países más seguros del mundo, donde las leyes se respetan estrictamente y se aplican al más alto nivel. El sólido marco legal del país y la aplicación efectiva de la ley han creado un entorno seguro tanto para los residentes como para los visitantes, lo que lo convierte en un destino atractivo para turistas, empresas e inversores.

Despite having a large population, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is renowned for being one of the safest countries in the world, where laws are strictly respected and enforced to the highest degree. The country’s robust legal framework and effective law enforcement have created a secure environment for residents and visitors alike, making it an attractive destination for tourists, business, and investors.

Dubái una de las ciudades más pobladas y prósperas, ubicada en la costa este de la Península Arábiga con vistas al Golfo Pérsico y es uno de los siete Emiratos que conforman los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU)

Dubai, one of the most populated and prosperous cities, located on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula overlooking the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

El idioma oficial de los Emiratos Árabes es el árabe y la religión oficial es el Islam. Sin embargo la diversa comunidad de expatriados del país está atendida con una variedad de lugares de culto, incluidas iglesias cristianas, sinagogas, templos hindúes y otros, lo que refleja el compromiso de los Emiratos Árabes con la tolerancia religiosa y la coexistencia.

The official language of the Emirates is Arabic, and the official religion is Islam. However, the country diverse expatriate community is catered to with a range of places of worship, including Christian churches, Synagogues, Hindu temples, and others, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to religious tolerance and coexistence.

“When visiting the Emirates, it’s recommended to dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees, in religious sites and public areas. Additionally, it’s considered respectful to ask permission before taking photos of local people. Alcohol consumption is only permitted in designed areas, such as hotels and licensed restaurants. By respecting these guidelines, you can ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience in the United Arab Emirates”

Dubái se ha convertido en una gran metrópolis, y su transformación en las últimas décadas ha sido tan notable que este antiguo oasis en el desierto ahora cuenta con una ciudad de imponentes rascacielos que parecen extenderse hasta el cielo.

Dubai has evolved into a great metropolis, and its transformation over the past few decades has been so remarkable that this former desert oasis now boasts a city of towering skyscrapers that seem to stretch up to the sky.

Este emocionante viaje comenzó con una visita al gigantesco Marco de Dubai, el observatorio más grande del mundo, que cuenta con 160 pisos. Esta maravilla arquitectónica ofrece vistas panorámicas del impresionante horizonte de Dubái. Y, para los aventureros una pasarela con suelo de cristal permite caminar por encima de la ciudad, disfrutando de las vistas y el sonido de la vibrante metrópolis que hay debajo.

My exiting journey began with a visit to the Dubai Frame, the world largest observatory, boasting 160 floors. This architectural wonder offers panoramic views of Dubai’s stunning skyline. And, for the adventurous, a glass floor walkway lets you walk high above the city, taking in the sights and sound of the vibrant metropolis below.

El distrito histórico de Al Bastakiya ofrece una visión fascinante de la vida de Dubái antes del auge del petróleo, ofreciendo una visión del rico patrimonio cultural de la ciudad. El vibrante Zoco de las especies, lleno de aromas y colores, el icónico Zoco del Oro, un mercado de fama mundial por sus impresionantes joyas y adornos de oro.

As I strolled through the charming Al Bastakiya neighborhood I found myself admiring the beautifully preserved old houses, traditional restaurants, andcozy cafes.This historic district provides a fascinating insight into Dubai’s life before the oil boom, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich cultural heritage. Afterward I embarked on a traditional Abra (water taxi) to explore the vibrant Spice Souk, filled with aromas and colors, and then I made my  way to the iconic Gold Souk, a world-famous marketplace renowned for its stunning gold jewelry and ornaments.

Ningún viaje a Dubái estaría completo sin visitar el Burj Khalifa, el edificio más alto del mundo y la estructura independiente más alta, con unos increíbles 163 pisos. Este monumental rascacielos es un testimonio de la innovación humana y el diseño, ya que ofrece impresionantes vistas de la ciudad desde sus plataformas de observación en los pisos 124 y 125.

No trip to Dubai would be complete without visiting the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building and the highest free-standing structure, standing at an incredible 163 stories. This monumental skyscraper is a testament to human innovation and design offering stunning views of the city from its observation decks on the 124^th and 125th floors.

Como entusiasta de las compras, no pude resistirme a la oportunidad de visitar el icónico Dubai Mall, uno de los destinos de compras más grandes y famosos del mundo con tiendas exclusivas de diseñadores de renombre, así como el cautivador acuario y el espectáculo de la fuente de Dubái. Esta icónica experiencia con más de 1.200 tiendas y una amplia gama de opciones gastronómicas, le convierte en un paraíso para los compradores.

As a shopping enthusiast, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to visit the iconic Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest and most renowned shopping destination featuring exclusive stores from renowned designers, as well as the captivating aquarium and the Dubai fountain show. This iconic shopping experience, with over 1.200 stores and a vast array of dining options, makes it a shopper’s paradise.

Dubái es una ciudad que te dejará boquiabierto, donde cada paso revela una nueva maravilla. Esta metrópolis ultramoderna ofrece una visión del futuro, mostrando los proyectos más avanzados e innovadores del planeta. Durante la visita asegúrese de explorar el área de la marina, el proyecto costero más grande de su tipo, y maravíllese con los impresionantes rascacielos.

Dubai is a city that will leave you in awe, where every step reveals a new wonder. This ultra-modern metropolis offers a glimpse into the future, showcasing the most advanced and innovative projects on the planet. During your visit be sure to explore the Dubai Marina area, the largest coastal project of its kind, and marvel at the impressive skyscrapers.

La Aldea Global, una espectacular exposición al aire libre, ofrece una experiencia cultural única con amplios pabellones que representan a 40 países. Este festival internacional ofrece una oportunidad fascinante para explorar y apreciar diversas culturas a través de artesanías tradicionales, productos auténticos y exhibiciones interactivas. Podemos sumergirnos en las vistas, los sonidos y los sabores de varias naciones, ampliando nuestra comprensión y apreciación del patrimonio mundial.

The Global Village, a spectacular open-air exhibition, offers a unique cultural experience with vast pavilions representing 40 countries. This international festival provides a fascinating opportunity to explore and appreciate diverse cultures through traditional crafts, authentic products, and interactive displays. We can immerse ourselves in the sights, sounds, and flavors of various nations, broadening our understanding and appreciation of global heritage.

Como amante de las plantas y las flores, me sorprendió e impresionó el Jardin Milagroso (Miracle Garden,) un vasto oasis que abarca 72 mil metros cuadrados, que muestra la asombrosa cantidad de 50 millones de flores y 250 millones de plantas. Este jardín de maravillas florales es un testimonio del poder de la naturaleza el ingenio y la creatividad humana.

As a plant and flowers lover, I was amazed and impressed by the Miracle Garden, a vast oasis spanning 72 thousand square meters, showcasing a staggering 50 million flowers and 250 million plants. This floral wonderland is a true marvel, a testament to the power of nature and human ingenuity and creativity.

The Palm Jumeriah, también conocida como la Isla de las Palmeras, es otra notable hazaña de ingeniería, una isla artificial construida con arena y rocas, que alberga a más de 2.500 residentes. Este icónico desarrollo es un símbolo de la visión y la creatividad de Dubái, ya que ofrece una combinación única de vida de lujo y paisajes impresionantes.

Palm Jumeriah, also known as the Palm Tree Island, is another remarkable feat of engineering, an artificial island built from sand and rocks, housing over 2,500 residents. This iconic development is a symbol of Dubai’s vision and creativity, offering a unique blend of luxury living and breathtaking scenery.

La distancia entre Dubái y Abu Dabi es relativamente corta, con solo 93,35 millas (150,23 km), el viaje en coche dura aproximadamente dos horas. Abu Dabi es la capital del emirato de Abu Dabi y la capital nacional de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU) está situada en una isla en el Golfo Pérsico. Esta ubicación estratégica ha permitido que la ciudad se convierta en un importante centro cultural, económico y político de la región, combinando la cultura tradicional árabe con la arquitectura moderna y la innovación. Es importante reconocer que las normas y tradiciones culturales varían entre Abu Dabi y Dubái, siendo Dubái generalmente más progresista y de mente abierta.

The distance between Dubai and Abu Dhabi is relatively short, with a mere 93.35 miles (150.23 Km) the journey by car takes approximately two hours. The city of Abu Dhabi is the capital city of the Abu Dhabi emirate and the national capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is situated on an island in the Persian Gulf. This strategic location has enabled the city to become a major cultural, economic, and political hub in the region, blending traditional Arabian culture with modern architecture and innovation. It’s important to recognize that cultural norms and traditions vary between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with Dubai being generally more progressive and open- minded.

 La majestuosa Gran Mezquita Sheikh Zayed, una de las más grandes y bellas del mundo. Esta impresionante maravilla arquitectónica es un símbolo icónico de la cultura islámica, rodeada de exquisitos jardines que se suman a su serena belleza. La grandeza de la mezquita y su intrincado diseño la convierten en un hito verdaderamente excepcional.

 The majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. This stunning architectural wonder is an iconic symbol of Islamic culture, surrounded by exquisite gardens that add to its serene beauty. The mosque’s grandeur and intricate design make it a truly outstanding landmark.

Si bien la belleza de Dubái es impresionante, Abu Dabi demostró ser igualmente asombrosa. Tuve el privilegio de recorrer a través de la exclusiva mezcla de áreas residenciales y comerciales de Batten, donde se encuentran los palacios de la familia real y el Palacio Presidencial, un hito que muestra la cultura, la historia, la arquitectura y la majestuosidad de los Emiratos Árabes.

While Dubai’s beauty was impressive, Abu Dhabi proved to be equally stunning. I had the privilege of driving through the exclusive mix of residential and commercial areas of Batten, where the royal family palaces are located. I also had the opportunity to visit the Presidential Palace, a landmark that showcases Emirate culture, history and architecture that left us breathless with sheer scale and majesty.

Una visita obligada es el pintoresco paseo marítimo por la bahía que ofrece impresionantes vistas del Golfo Pérsico. Esta impresionante zona costera es perfecta para dar un paseo, trotar, sentarse y disfrutar de las vistas y el sonido del mar.

A must-visit attraction is the picturesque Corniche promenade, which offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. This stunning waterfront area is perfect for a leisure walk, jog, sitting and taking in the sights and sound of the sea.

Mi aventura en Abu Dhabi concluye con una visita a la isla de Saadiyat, hogar del famoso e icónico Museo del Louvre de Abu Dabi, una institución cultural emblemática que tiene la distinción de ser el primer museo universal del mundo árabe. Este magnífico museo encarna el espíritu de los valores del intercambio cultural, la tolerancia y la comprensión del diverso patrimonio cultural del mundo.

My Abu Dhabi adventure conclude with a visit to Saadiyat Island, home to the renowned iconic Louvre Museum of Abu Dhabi, a landmark cultural institution that holds the distinction of being the first universal museum in the Arab World. This magnificent museum embodies the spirit of the values of cultural exchange, tolerance and understanding of the world’s diverse cultural heritage.

De vuelta en Dubái, me esperaba otra emocionante aventura: un safari por el desierto que me transportó a un mundo muy diferente. La experiencia de viajar por las dunas de arena, disfrutar de los impresionantes paisajes y maravillarse con la majestuosa belleza del desierto árabe. La magia de la puesta de sol y el paseo en camello fue una experiencia inolvidable. Al caer la noche, me deleité con una deliciosa cena a la luz de la luna en una atmósfera árabe tradicional que me dejó hechizada.

Back in Dubai, another thrilling adventure was waiting for me – a desert safari that transported me to a vastly different world. The experience of traveling on the sand dunes, taking in the breathtaking landscapes, and marveling at the majestic beauty of the Arabian desert was amazing. The magic of the sunset was a sight to behold, and the camel ride was an unforgettable experience. As night fell, I was indulged in a delectable moonlight dinner, immersed in a traditional Arabic atmosphere that left me spellbound.

Este museo aprovecha la realidad virtual y otras tecnologías avanzadas para ofrecer una visión fascinante del potencial de la innovación humana. Al explorar las exhibiciones interactivas tuvimos la oportunidad de imaginar las posibilidades de un futuro más brillante y sostenible«.

My unforgettable journey, which had exceeded my expectations from the beginning, concluded with a visit to the futuristic Museum of the Future. This Museum leverages virtual reality and other advanced technologies to provide a fascinating glimpse into the potential of human innovation. By exploring the interactive exhibits and displays, we got a chance to envision the possibilities of a brighter, more sustainable future.
