COLOMBIA IS READY TO CELEBRATE ITS «FIESTA DEL MAR» IN SANTA MARTA from July 26 to 31

Como no podia ser de otra manera, nuevamente la Capital del Magdalena vuelve a ser noticia para el Mundo. En esta oportunidad, por ser la sede de una Festividad que resaltará sin lugar a dudas las mejores tradiciones «samarias» de las que los colombianos podrán disfrutar tanto como los extranjeros turistas y viajeros venidos de todas partes del Mundo.

Las tradiciones se fortalecen en esta oportunidad para regalarnos una Fiesta del Mar única en los últimos años, y lo que es innegable bajo el mandato de su lideresa tan querida dentro como fuera del país, la Señora Alcaldesa Virna Johnson quien ha sido prácticamente la que ha logrado encumbrar a nivel internacional en el mundo a Santa Marta en los últimos años bajo su lema tan significativo «Unidos por el Cambio, Santa Marta El cambio es imparable», manteniendo así a esta ciudad en el Top, de una forma muy acertada con indistintas actividades tremendamente atractivas, construcciones significativas y muy a la altura compitiendo inclusive con otras grandes ciudades del mundo para lograr hacer de este destino, un destino turístico de ensueño.

La Promoción de esta celebración que reúne a los «samarios» como se les conoce a los habitantes de estas hermosas tierras se inició tanto a nivel local, regional, nacional e internacional y por supuesto para todos los amantes de los deportes náuticos así como lo mejor de la cultura local, fiestas que se llevará a cabo desde el 26 al 31 de julio.

Así mismo su Alcaldesa la Sra. Virna Johnson expresó: «Esta será la ocasión perfecta para redescubrir los tesoros que esconde el mar de esta ciudad naturalmente mágica, y juntos así, no solo disfrutar de la Fiesta del Mar, sino también resaltar las mejores tradiciones de la identidad samaria, costumbres gastronómicas, la pesca artesanal y la música, así como ha venido sucediendo desde el 2012, cuando la Fiesta del Mar empezó a ser incluyente, de todos y para todos»

En esta edición 64, también contará con la presencia de cantantes de talla internacional como Lilly Goodman, quien será la encargada de darle inicio a la celebración del cumpleaños 498 de Santa Marta, con un concierto programado para el 26 de julio en la playa de El Rodadero, a la que se sumarán artistas nacionales e internacionales como Maelo Ruiz, Michel ‘el Buenón’ y Eddy Herrera, entre otros muchos consagrados.

La agenda oficial de Fiesta del Mar en su edición número 64 estará compuesta de eventos tradicionales como: Festival de Pesca Artesanal, Festival de Verano y Música al Mar, Festival de Juglares Vallenatos, Festival de Cocina Tradicional Samaria, Festival de los Niños y el Mar, Fotomaratón, Desfile Folclórico, y la Serenata a Santa Marta.   

The official agenda of Fiesta del Mar in its 64th edition will be made up of traditional events such as: Artisanal Fishing Festival, Summer Festival and Music of the Sea, Vallenatos Minstrels Festival, Samaria Traditional Cuisine Festival, Children’s and Sea Festival , Photomarathon, Folkloric Parade, and the Serenade to Santa Marta.

Cabe resaltar que en esta ocasión se retomó la elección de la Capitanía Nacional del Mar, resaltando así la belleza, el talento, habilidades y destrezas como las fortaleza de las jóvenes samarias, la misma que ha recaído en Daniela Restrepo Henao quién será la Capitana Anfitriona de la Fiesta del Mar 2023, recibiendo la banda de Capitana de manos de la Alcaldesa Virna Johnson.

Daniela Restrepo Henao, tendrá la responsabilidad y el honor de ser la digna representante del Departamento del Magdalena y del Distrito de Santa Marta en la Capitanía Nacional del Mar que se desarrollará en el marco de los 498 años de la ciudad.

Daniela de 27 años es una joven y bella contadora pública, emprendedora y empresaria así como gran deportista de alto rendimiento con gran experiencia en deportes náuticos los que captaron su atención y gusto desde que ella era muy pequeñita, lo que sin duda le permitirá dejar muy en alto el nombre de Santa Marta a nivel nacional e internacional, a lo que ella expresó: «Escogí ser Capitana del Mar porque quiero que los samarios, Colombia y el Mundo entero así como yo que amo el deporte, sientan ese mismo amor. Sobretodo porque el deporte crea disciplina, responsabilidad, buenos hábitos y nos hace mejores personas»

Daniela, 27 years old, is a young and beautiful public accountant, entrepreneur and businesswoman, as well as a great high-performance athlete with extensive experience in water sports, which captured her attention and taste since she was very little, which will undoubtedly allow her to leave very uphold the name of Santa Marta at a national and international level, to which she expressed: «I chose to be Captain of the Sea because I want Samaria, Colombia and the entire world, as well as I who love sports, to feel that same love. No es la primera vez que Daniela asume tan significativo reto, representando tanto a su tierra como a su gente ya que ha participado en reinados tan importantes como el Reinado Nacional del Café en el 2018 representando a Santa Marta y del Magdalena en el Reinado Nacional de la Ganadería, entre otros… Así mismo, fue quien representó a Colombia en el Reinado de Miss America Latina del Mundo en el 2021 cuyo evento tuvo lugar en Punta Cana República Dominicana y que tiene como propósito reunir en un mismo escenario a las mujeres latinoamericanas en donde no solo destaca la belleza de cada una de las participantes sino su nivel cultural, sus valores y principios, tradiciones y culturas. Evento en el que Daniela fue catapultada como una de las mujeres más bellas ya no solo de Latinoamérica sino del continente según la crítica internacional especializada y que hoy vuelven a poner su mirada en ella como digna representante del género para quien LA AGENCIA MUNDIAL DE PRENSA celebró su candidatura en su momento como parte de su organización y auspiciador del evento, invitados por su Ceo Representante de Colombia la otrora reina de belleza y periodista, la empresaria y filántropa Betty Peláez M. Y es que precisamente, los mágicos atardeceres samarios serán testigos de un evento único en esta bella ciudad hoy convertida en todo un destino turístico internacional de ensueño con la realización de la 4ta versión de los Monitor Music Awards 2023, que en esta ocasión tendrá como sede a la capital naturalmente mágica, que tendrá  encuentros académicos, showcases y la gran gala de premiación, con la participación de los artistas musicales del momento que son tendencia en toda Latinoamérica y que tendrá transmisión por televisión global a través de 25 canales en 18 países simultáneamente.
