Editorial: IN MARCH WE SHOUTED FOR EQUALITY..!!

A todos nuestros lectores en el mundo… A quienes nos siguen en el día a día, a todos aquellos «mis lectores» que desde el día uno decidieron apostar por mis trocitos del alma plasmados en mis líneas, en mis letras.

To all our readers around the world… to those who follow us day by day, to all those «my readers» who from day one decided to bet on my bits of soul embodied in my lines, in my letters.

Soy María Piña y como Consejera Delegada Global de la Mujer de La Agencia Mundial de Prensa del Grupo Apcsx os envío el más fuerte de los abrazos a todas esas mujeres maravillosas y a esos hombres extraordinarios que nos leen.

I am María Piña and as the Global Women’s Delegate of the Apcsx Group World Press Agency I send the strongest of hugs to all those wonderful women and those extraordinary men who read us.

En este inicio del mes de marzo, mes de la mujer, les quiero hablar del Festival Internacional de Poesía y Arte Grito de Mujer convocado gracias a la colaboración del Movimiento Mujeres Poetas Internacional (MPI) cuya presidenta es la dominicana Jael Uribe y que nace con el fin de unir las voces solidarias del mundo en homenaje a la mujer y contra la violencia y que este año llega a su XIII edición gritando por la igualdad en todo el mundo.

At the beginning of the month of March, the month of women, I want to talk about the International Festival of Poetry and Art Grito de Mujer convened thanks to the collaboration of the International Women Poets Movement (MPI) whose president is the Dominican Jael Uribe and who was born with in order to unite the voices of solidarity in the world in homage to women and against violence and which this year reaches its XIII edition shouting for equality throughout the world.

Son más de 28 países los que cada año al llegar el mes de marzo se unen en un sólo grito con un lema. Este 2023 el grito es a la «Madre de la tierra» lema con el que todas las manifestaciones artísticas son bienvenidas; la poesía, la danza, la pintura y la música entre otras.

There are more than 28 countries that every year when the month of March arrives unite in a single cry with a motto. This 2023 the cry is to the «Mother of the Earth» motto with which all artistic manifestations are welcome; poetry, dance, painting and music among others.

Quejío Córdoba con Grito de Mujer

En córdoba, Andalucía- España ciudad donde resido, se lleva realizando el Festival desde hace nueve años cuyos coordinadores son la reconocida poeta cordobesa María Pizarro y el artista plástico de origen uruguayo Sergio Carlos Pérez quienes nos convocan a levantar la voz cada año, llamado al que me sumo orgullosa desde que iniciara su andadura en mi ciudad el año 2015.

In Córdoba, Andalusia-Spain, the city where I live, the Festival has been held for nine years whose coordinators are the renowned Cordoba poet María Pizarro and the Uruguayan artist Sergio Carlos Pérez who call us to raise our voices every year, called to that I am very proud since it began its journey in my city in 2015.

El pasado viernes 3 de marzo se inauguró en la biblioteca central de la capital el 9º Festival Quejío Córdoba con Grito de Mujer con una exposición maravillosa de más de 15 artistas,con diferentes técnicas dedicadas a esa Madre de la Tierra y posteriormente participamos de un recital algunos de los poetas que son parte de la antología virtual que se publica cada año. El acto cerró con la participación musical del artista cordobés “El vera”, ya un clásico, quien cada año compone una canción única con el lema del festival.

Last Friday, March 3, the 9th Quejío Córdoba Festival with Grito de Mujer was inaugurated in the central library of the capital with a wonderful exhibition of more than 15 artists, with different techniques dedicated to that Mother of the Earth and later we participated in a recital some of the poets that are part of the virtual anthology that is published every year. The act closed with the musical participation of the Cordovan artist «El vera», already a classic, who each year composes a unique song with the festival’s motto.

La exposición estará disponible hasta el próximo 31 de marzo y el festival seguirá su recorrido por varios pueblos de la provincia de Córdoba durante todo este mes.

The exhibition will be available until March 31 and the festival will continue its tour of various towns in the province of Córdoba throughout this month

Sigamos unidos hombres y mujeres gritando de la mano del arte por la igualdad no solo en marzo, si no todos los meses, todos los días, desde cualquier rincón del planeta, estoy segura que algún día, esta pesadilla solo será eso.

Let’s continue united men and women shouting hand in hand with art for equality not only in March, but every month, every day, from any corner of the planet, I’m sure that one day, this nightmare will only be that.
