FLAMENCO CULTURE

Su origen. sus cultores, el cante el toque y el baile.. lo tenemos de la mano de su Directora General Teresa Fernández Herrera gran estudiosa cultora y apasionada de esta cultura como lo podemos ver reflejado en su libro FLAMENCOS conversaciones con artistas en la que cita una frase nunca mejor acuñada: «A todos los que aman y han amado sin temor a las consecuencias… Y es que hablar de flamenco no es solo hablar de su toque su cante y su baile también es una forma de vida, costumbres, cultores y dinastías».

Its origin. its cultists, singing, playing and dancing… we have it from the hand of its General Director Teresa Fernández Herrera, a great scholar and passionate about this culture as we can see reflected in her book FLAMENCOS conversations with artists in which she quotes a phrase never better coined: «To all those who love and have loved without fear of the consequences… And talking about flamenco is not only talking about its touch, its singing and its dancing, it is also a way of life, customs, cultists and dynasties».

Respecto al cante el gran Federico García Lorca decia: «El cante jondo se acerca al trino de un pájaro, al canto del gallo y a las músicas naturales del bosque y la fuente. Es pues un rarísimo ejemplar de canto primitivo, el más viejo de toda Europa que lleva en sus notas la desnuda y escalofriante emoción de las primeras razas orientales». Se puede decir más alto pero no más claro…

Regarding cante, the great Federico García Lorca said: «Cante jondo is close to the trill of a bird, the crow of a rooster and the natural music of the forest and the fountain. It is therefore a very rare example of primitive singing, the oldest of all Europe that carries in its notes the naked and chilling emotion of the first oriental races». You can say higher, but not clearer…

El poder plasmar aquí el amor del flamenco por su trabajo, la disciplina y el rigor necesarios para llevar a cabo una rutina diaria de horas y horas de ensayo y creación porque no basta con tener detrás una dinastía de artistas que pasaron a la historia. La genética el entorno y la vocación no son nada sin el trabajo constante…. Porque el flamenco es mucho más de lo que crees. Vive flamenco!
