Desde el remoto Génesis bíblico hasta los más recientes sucesos cuyo final no podemos prever, las afinidades entre lo que narra la Biblia y la actualidad hay una constante repetición de la Historia, presidida siempre por la mano de Yahvé.

From the remote biblical Genesis to the most recent events whose end we cannot foresee, the affinities between what the Bible narrates and the present are a constant repetition of History, always presided over by the hand of Yahweh.

Sin ella no podrían entenderse los hechos, desde el abandono de Ur por el padre Abraham y su largo camino hacia Jarán y la tierra de Canaán, el cautiverio de Egipto, Moisés, la larga y agitada travesía del desierto, las Tablas de la Ley, el Becerro de oro, la muerte de Moisés en el monte Nebo frente a Jericó, la constante rebeldía de ese pueblo elegido hacia el que los había elegido, los desencuentros y repudios por parte del dios que llamaron Elohim, los castigos y los arrepentimientos, la nunca pacífica Eretz Israel, su repudio del Mesías de la estirpe de David largamente anunciado, Roma,  hasta aquella Diáspora voluntaria por el mundo en aquel año 70 ad, (anno dómine) su siempre conflictivo peregrinaje por el mundo, que siempre acababa en persecuciones y castigos, hasta el tremendo Holocausto en pleno siglo XX, compensado con el retorno gracias a una votación en el seno de la recién creada Naciones Unidas, liderada por el nuevo imperio mundial. Por primera vez en la Historia se determinaba la existencia de un país en detrimento de otro … como en el remoto relato bíblico…

For the first time in history, the existence of one country was determined to the detriment of another… as in the remote biblical story…

¿Se ve la mano de Yahvé  en los sucesos del siglo XX, persecución, muerte, supervivencia y retorno siempre en conflicto? Como entonces, ¿sigue este pueblo que poco tiene que ver con el llamado pueblo elegido de entonces, creando conflictos desde el primer día de su nueva existencia, sintiéndose poderoso a la sombra de su mentor, que a cambio ha venido ejerciendo su influencia geoestratégica en una zona clave de Oriente Medio, la verdadera razón de la existencia de esa nueva Eretz Israel? ¿Se repite la historia? Salvando todas las distancias, sí.

Is the hand of Yahweh seen in the events of the 20th century, persecution, death, survival and return always in conflict? As then, does this people that has little to do with the so-called chosen people of that time, continue creating conflicts from the first day of its new existence, feeling powerful in the shadow of its mentor, who in return has been exercising his geostrategic influence in a key area of ​​the Middle East, the true reason for the existence of this new Eretz Israel? Is history repeating itself? With all due respect, yes.

Como al principio mencioné episodios bíblicos, que he repasado para escribir esta crónica, mencionaré de pasada algunos hechos, que son un calco de sus remotos históricos.

As at the beginning I mentioned biblical episodes, which I have reviewed to write this chronicle, I will mention in passing some facts, which are a carbon copy of their remote history.

Tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial, durante el Mandato Británico en Palestina, como una nueva Roma,  avalado por Naciones Unidas, la lucha judía por un estado propio estuvo determinada por el Irgún, el Stern y la Haganah. No hace falta ser hiriente y decir a qué se dedicaban estos movimientos. Baste recordar la voladura  del ala oeste del hotel King David de Jerusalén, donde estaba situado el cuartel general del Mandato.

It is enough to recall the explosion of the west wing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, where the headquarters of the Mandate was located.

Desde aquel 29 de noviembre de 1947, en la que se votó una partición artificial, nunca aceptada por ninguna de las partes, cuyas consecuencias vemos hasta el día de hoy, el mundo ha asistido a una sistemática política de expansión  israelí por hecho consumado. En 1948 Jerusalén Este pertenecía a Jordania lo que durante años fue fuente de conflictos violentos por ambas partes. Luego vino la política de asentamientos de colonos israelíes en territorio palestino. Conocidos son los campos de refugiados palestinos en Jordania desde hace muchos años. Los constantes conflictos jamás han buscado la solución por la vía diplomática del diálogo, siempre por la vía de la violencia.

The Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan have been well known for many years. The constant conflicts have never sought a solution through diplomatic dialogue, but always through violence.

Un pueblo que parece condenado, en la Biblia y hoy a no conocer jamás la paz.

Y llegamos al aquí y ahora. El nuevo presidente del país más imperialista del mundo, ha llegado en clave de ejercer como amo supremo, como supremo desestabilizador de un orden mundial que aún siendo manifiestamente mejorable como todo lo humano, creía en la democracia. Y ha decidido expulsar de la castigada Gaza a todo el pueblo palestino que aún mal subsiste, para construir un resort de lujo estrictamente norteamericano. Algo que ha sido bendecido por el sátrapa desestabilizador que gobierna Israel, cual nuevo adorador del Becerro de oro.

Something that has been blessed by the destabilising satrap who governs Israel, like a new worshipper of the Golden Calf.

Pero ojo. Que una cosa es tener influencia geoestratégica y otra muy distinta es meterse dentro, cual caballo de Troya, manu militari, contra todo el universo. De la reconstrucción, y creación del resort de lujo ya sabemos que empresa inmobiliaria va a ser la beneficiaria.

Una de las grandes sinrazones de las guerras es el negocio de la reconstrucción.

En la Biblia Yahvé siempre castiga a los poderosos. Egipto, Babilonia, etc.

Y todo esto sucede, desde los tiempos del padre Abraham en la Tierra Santa de judíos, cristianos y musulmanes.

And all this has happened since the times of Father Abraham in the Holy Land of Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Es la mayor paradoja de la Historia.
