CULTURAL: ¿Predijo Julio Verne la erupción del volcán Krakatoa?

El 27 de agosto de 1993, se produce la erupción del volcán en la Isla de Krakatoa, considerado el peor desastre natural en la historia de la humanidad.
El sonido del estallido fue tan brutal que se escuchó en un sitio tan distante del hecho como Australia, a 3.500 kilómetros de distancia y en Madagascar. En términos geológicos, esta fue una erupción muy grande. Probablemente la segunda o tercera más grande de los últimos 250 años», señaló el profesor de Vulcanología de la Universidad de Oxford David Pyle en entrevista en la BBC Mundo.
