Sabemos que la situación está rebasada para las autoridades”.

BARRANCA LA AURORA

Entonces creemos que los cuerpos puedan estar en panteones”.

Victoria remembered the time when Javier Sicilia’s caravan arrived in Xalapa, talking about her son. “Activists supported me, I joined the Xalapa Peace Collective, the first one in Veracruz, which supported us with civil associations, in one space we met many families, who began searches in 2010 and 2011, then more collectives were formed, and since 2015 I started working as Colectivo Familiares Enlaces Xalapa.”

Victoria recordó el tiempo en que a Xalapa llegó la caravana de Javier Sicilia hablando de su hijo. “Me apoyaron activistas, me uní al Colectivo por la Paz Xalapa, el primero que hubo en Veracruz, que nos apoyó con asociaciones civiles, en un espacio nos reunimos muchas familias, que comenzaron búsquedas desde 2010 y 2011, se formaron entonces más colectivos, y desde 2015 comencé a trabajar como Colectivo Familiares Enlaces Xalapa”.

La construcción de un Memorial de Personas Desaparecidas está en la avenida Xalapa esquina Lucio Blanco, -en la Atenas Veracruzana-, donde están 60 fotografías de desaparecidos. Para tal logro se unieron los colectivos “La esperanza del reencuentro” y “Familiares Enlaces Xalapa”, que a seis años de gestión pudieron inaugurar este año, el espacio en el que se encuentra escrito una lista de personas que no han sido localizadas. El gobierno municipal de Américo Zúñiga otorgó el espacio a través de una sesión de Cabildo, relata Victoria.
