El presunto autor del ataque, quien llevaba un cuchillo de cocina en la mano, resultó muerto producto de los disparos de la policía porque se negó a rendirse. La Policía francesa ha detenido esta noche así mismo a otras nueve personas, una de ellas menor de edad.
