In my opinion, progressively, we are witnessing a pathology that places the Judiciary in an uncomfortable position to say the least. The slowness of its procedures, at all levels, compromises with certain assiduity –and I do not intend to be alarmist- a more dynamic, balanced and equitable operation of the republican democratic system on which Uruguayan society is based.
