The art of Córdoba and Barcelona merges in a unique exhibition at the Pignatelli Palace

La Sala Gótica del Reial Cercle Artístic reúne hasta el 25 de mayo a artistas de la Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència, cREA y el propio Cercle en la muestra “Córdobarcelona”.

La ciudad de Barcelona es testigo, hasta el 25 de mayo, de la exposición colectiva “Córdobarcelona”, inaugurada en la histórica Sala Gótica del Reial Cercle Artístic del Palacio Pignatelli. Comisariada por Nuria Rodríguez Yuste, la exposición congrega a una selección de artistas que representan el dinamismo cultural de la Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència (AACC), la Asociación Andaluza para el Fomento de la Cultura (cREA) y el propio Cercle barcelonés.

The city of Barcelona is witnessing, until May 25, the group exhibition “Córdobarcelona”, inaugurated in the historic Gothic Room of the Reial Cercle Artístic of the Pignatelli Palace. Curated by Nuria Rodríguez Yuste, the exhibition brings together a selection of artists who represent the cultural dynamism of the Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència (AACC), the Andalusian Association for the Promotion of Culture (cREA) and the Barcelona Cercle itself.

El pasado 9 de mayo se inauguró en el corazón de Barcelona la exposición “Córdobarcelona”, una iniciativa artística que simboliza la unión entre dos ciudades con una intensa tradición cultural. La Sala Gótica del Reial Cercle Artístic, situada en el Palacio Pignatelli, acoge esta muestra hasta el próximo 25 de mayo, ofreciendo al público la oportunidad de disfrutar de obras de destacados artistas pertenecientes a la Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència (AACC), la Asociación Andaluza para el Fomento de la Cultura (cREA) y el propio Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona.

On May 9, the “Córdobarcelona” exhibition was inaugurated in the heart of Barcelona, ​​an artistic initiative that symbolizes the union between two cities with an intense cultural tradition. The Gothic Room of the Reial Cercle Artístic, located in the Pignatelli Palace, hosts this exhibition until May 25, offering the public the opportunity to enjoy works by prominent artists belonging to the Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència (AACC), the Andalusian Association for the Promotion of Culture (cREA) and the Reial Cercle Artístic of Barcelona itself.

El acto de inauguración, que contó con un concierto ofrecido por un cuarteto de la orquesta del Real Círculo, reunió a representantes institucionales y culturales de ambas regiones. Entre los intervinientes destacaron José Félix Bentz, presidente del Real Círculo Artístico; Nuria Rodríguez Yuste, presidenta de la AACC y comisaria de la muestra; Laura Mercedes Córdoba Martín, delegada de cREA en Madrid y Argentina; Paquita Marín, presidenta de la Casa de Andalucía, y Miguel Rodríguez Núñez, en representación de los artistas de cREA.

The opening ceremony, which included a concert offered by a quartet from the Real Círculo orchestra, brought together institutional and cultural representatives from both regions. Among the speakers were José Félix Bentz, president of the Royal Artistic Circle; Nuria Rodríguez Yuste, president of the AACC and curator of the exhibition; Laura Mercedes Córdoba Martín, cREA delegate in Madrid and Argentina; Paquita Marín, president of the Casa de Andalucía, and Miguel Rodríguez Núñez, representing the cREA artists.

Entre los asistentes al evento se encontraban Jordi Martí, regidor del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, el periodista Tony Avilés en representación de cREA Barcelona y numerosos artistas participantes, tales como Arroyo Ceballos, Sasha Asensio, Isabel Britto, Emilia Castañeda, José Domínguez Hernández, Josefa Medina, José Carlos Ortiz, Perico Pastor, Pepe Puntas, Miguel Rodríguez, Núria Rodríguez Yuste, Toni Rodríguez Yuste y Jordi Rollán.

Among those attending the event were Jordi Martí, councilor of Barcelona City Council, journalist Tony Avilés representing cREA Barcelona and numerous participating artists, such as Arroyo Ceballos, Sasha Asensio, Isabel Britto, Emilia Castañeda, José Domínguez Hernández, Josefa Medina, José Carlos Ortiz, Perico Pastor, Pepe Puntas, Miguel Rodríguez, Núria Rodríguez Yuste, Toni Rodríguez Yuste and Jordi Rollán.

El germen de este proyecto se encuentra en la colaboración entre la Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència y cREA, fruto de un convenio firmado entre ambas entidades. Nuria Rodríguez Yuste, en calidad de presidenta de la AACC, presentó la propuesta al Reial Cercle Artístic, que no dudó en sumarse y acoger la muestra en su emblemática sede.

The germ of this project lies in the collaboration between the Associació d’Art, Cultura i Ciència and cREA, the result of an agreement signed between both entities. Nuria Rodríguez Yuste, as president of the AACC, presented the proposal to the Reial Cercle Artístic, which did not hesitate to join in and host the exhibition at its emblematic headquarters.

La Asociación Andaluza para el Fomento de la Cultura cREA, nacida en Córdoba en julio de 2022 y presidida por Francisco Arroyo Ceballos, reúne a más de mil cuatrocientos asociados dentro y fuera de Andalucía y de España. Entre sus proyectos más relevantes se cuentan el Árbol de las Artes, varias antologías literarias, exposiciones virtuales y presenciales, y la Antolog-IA Poético Musical, consolidando así su compromiso con la promoción de la cultura y la interculturalidad.

The Andalusian Association for the Promotion of Culture cREA, born in Córdoba in July 2022 and chaired by Francisco Arroyo Ceballos, brings together more than one thousand four hundred associates inside and outside Andalusia and Spain. Among its most relevant projects are the Tree of the Arts, several literary anthologies, virtual and in-person exhibitions, and the Musical Poetic Anthology-IA, thus consolidating its commitment to the promotion of culture and interculturality.

La exposición “Córdobarcelona” se presenta como un claro ejemplo de la capacidad del arte para tender puentes y fomentar el diálogo entre diferentes tradiciones y territorios, invitando a los visitantes a celebrar la riqueza cultural compartida.
