Desde pequeñita, a los cinco añitos, Arlene ya sentia que llevaba algo especial en su interior. Criada en Corona Queens, Nueva York, e impulsada por la riqueza cultural que la rodeaba, comenzó a forjarse un camino que más tarde la llevaría a irrumpir en la escena musical de Florida en 2009, sin embargo no se limito solo a cantar ya que en el 2011 fundó su propio sello discográfico, Platinum G Records, Inc., demostrando que su espíritu empresarial y artístico iban de la mano.

From a young age, at five years old, Arlene already felt she had something special inside her. Raised in Corona, Queens, New York, and driven by the cultural richness that surrounded her, she began to forge a path that would later lead her to burst onto the Florida music scene in 2009. However, she didn’t limit herself to singing alone. In 2011, she founded her own record label, Platinum G Records, Inc., proving that her entrepreneurial and artistic spirits went hand in hand.

De esa unión nació la producción “Para Que Sepan Quién Soy Yo”, presentada en el Anfiteatro Tito Puente en Puerto Rico y en el Lehman Performing Arts de Nueva York, en el marco del cumpleaños 85 del maestro y “El emperador de la salsa”. Para Arlene, definitivamente fue cumplir un sueño de infancia; para la salsa, fue el nacimiento de una nueva voz femenina respaldada por un legado inquebrantable.

From that union came the production «So They Know Who I Am,» presented at the Tito Puente Amphitheater in Puerto Rico and at the Lehman Performing Arts in New York, in celebration of the maestro’s 85th birthday and «The Emperor of Salsa.» For Arlene, it was definitely the fulfillment of a childhood dream; for salsa, it was the birth of a new female voice backed by an unbreakable legacy.

Tras la partida de Eddie Palmieri el pasado miércoles 6 de agosto en su residencia de Nueva Jersey tras una prolongada enfermedad, el vínculo quedó sellado para siempre: sus propios hijos invitaron a Arlene a los exequias, un gesto que confirma la trascendencia de su relación artística y personal.

After Eddie Palmieri’s death last Wednesday, August 6, at his residence in New Jersey following a prolonged illness, the bond was sealed forever: his own children invited Arlene to the funeral, a gesture that confirms the significance of their artistic and personal relationship.

La carrera de Arlene G ha estado marcada por colaboraciones y producciones que han dejado huella. Con Nino Segarra aquel de Por que te amo…, grabó Rétame, tema que se convirtió en himno en Puerto Rico. Durante la pandemia sorprendió con Inolvidable, un bolero clásico transformado en bolero salsero, y Tendrán Que Respetar, producción que le valió un reconocimiento en los Premios Urbanos de Univisión 2021.

Y paralelamente a esto, ha desarrollado una línea cosmética de labiales y gafas de sol, cuyos beneficios son destinados a su fundación, demostrando a todas luces que su visión de éxito incluye responsabilidad social.
