SPEARHEAD EDITORIAL: DUMEK MAYOR OF CARTAGENA – COLOMBIA

Hace poco volvió la seriedad a la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias – Colombia, con la elección del Doctor Dumek Turbay Paz. Aunque yo personalmente no lo conozco, y pocas referencias tengo sobre este profesional, ni abstractas, ni concretas, si supe por fuente de alta fidelidad, como decía Arturo Abella, que me llego por vía de excepción, de parte del Doctor Amaury Martelo, amigo de vieja data, a quien aprecio por su lealtad a la amistad, y respetabilidad, que Cartagena con el Dr. Dumek está en buenas manos.

Aun cuando es prematuro dar un grito de triunfal para postular al alcalde Dumek, como lo mejor, no me cabe la menor duda, que va por buen camino, y esto ya es ganancia para la ciudad, comparado con el anterior alcalde, que descuaderno por completo a Cartagena: La dañó moralmente por permisivo y abusivo. Irrespetando al Concejo de Cartagena, que es el ente legislador del distrito, que por más defectuoso que sea, y que, pese a que no sea el templo de oración y bendición, ni cuna de San Agustín que lucha contra las herejías y el maniqueísmo, hay que respetarlo. Para tratar a ese centro legislativo, hay que utilizar la inteligencia emocional, y nunca el insulto, ni menos minimizarlos despóticamente.

Era una réplica, pésimamente elaborada, del presidente Petro, que, por efecto colateral, la ciudad se arrodillo ante el respaldo que Dau siempre tuvo del gobierno central, para todo lo malo que ocurrió. Se burlo de la Fiscalía, Procuraduría, y hasta satanizo el palacio municipal, quienes aseguraban que muchas veces se utilizó el despacho, para oficios satánicos con aroma y humo de la verde.

En buena hora llega el Doctor Dumek que como anillo al dedo, estimula el espíritu del hombre caribeño, para defendernos a los costeños de los atropellos del sistema energético, en manos de un grupo de mercaderes de la pobreza y del abuso, del que se aprovecha el gobiernos central en alianzas de algunos inescrupulosos que conocen el tejemaneje energético, y que camuflados como demócratas, tienen acciones en las empresas prestadoras del servicio de energía, y que el Alcalde Dumek en una clara determinación, corajuda, y con expresión costeña, eminentemente cartagenera, les dijo que no estaban tratando con marranos.

Siga así Dr Dumek y nunca cometa el error, de esquivar los consejos, de quienes por edad y amor por la ciudad, ofrecimos en su momento al Dr Dau, los que desestimo olímpicamente, y hoy por la misma razón, se ganó el trofeo del peor alcalde de la historia, y el más corrupto de todos.

Alcalde Dumek, siempre busque el que buen consejo le dé. Tiene usted un desafío por la inseguridad de la ciudad, que es la esencia para generar la confianza colectiva y el atractivo para el turismo. Póngale el ojo, a los lugares de atracción turísticas como las playas, que se volvieron centros de la estafa culinaria y del exhibicionismo sexual. Que la ciudad lo apoye. Que la tarea no es fácil.
