Santiago y San Miguel, barrios flamencos de Jerez
Uno de los placeres de venir a Jerez de la Frontera, ya sea a presentar un libro, “FLAMENCOS Conversaciones con artistas” como invitada del Ayuntamiento y de las fundaciones Caballero Bonald, Cajasol y Fundarte, o a cubrir una parte del Festival anual de Flamenco, es pasear por los barrios históricos de la ciudad con el propósito de profundizar en el conocimiento de lo que aconteció en el devenir de los siglos en esta histórica ciudad, cuya fundación se remonta a la mítica Tartessos, y desde el 22 de mayo de 2009, aprobado por unanimidad por el Parlamento de Andalucía, gran parte de su casco histórico es bien de interés cultural con categoría de Conjunto Histórico Artístico. Y entre esta parte del casco histórico, se encuentran los barrios de Santiago y San Miguel, históricos barrios flamencos, objeto de varios paseos desde que empecé a frecuentar Jerez en 2016.
