En un lugar muy pero muy lejano en las profundidades del cielo nocturno se puede notar una preciosa luna plateada ¡Muy brillante! Lugar donde habita un hada llamada Clarita que viste de rojo, en esta temporada lleva su canasta de corazones de bondad, también trae estrellitas de esperanzas, y otras esferitas de caridad, solo que es una hada que no nació con alas, pero eso no le impide ser feliz, sonríe todo el tiempo hasta las estrellas hace reír.

In a very, very far away place, deep in the night sky, a beautiful, silvery moon shines brightly! There lives a fairy named Clarita, who dresses in red. This season, she carries her basket of kind hearts, along with little stars of hope and other spheres of charity. She wasn’t born with wings, but that doesn’t stop her from being happy. She smiles all the time, even making the stars laugh.

Las estrellas sus amigas la suelen a muchos lugares llevar, con el polvo cósmico del universo la hacen viajar al infinito y a muchos lugares más, ¡pum, pam, sala, bim! la hace flotar y le direccionan su vuelo con un rayito lunar, duerme sobre un cráter de la luna, donde recoge energía bonita, de esa que le regalan las estrellitas, con sus manitas realiza aquellas piezas tan bonitas, ya que tiene un gran amor por la humanidad y le encanta que la lleven a la tierra donde hay muchos niños y niñas, con ellos a veces se pone a jugar, cuando ha llenado su canasta de corazones brillantes empieza a cantar ¡luna, lunita, hazme una lucecita! ¡luna, lunita, hazme una lucecita!

Her star friends often take her to many places, with the cosmic dust of the universe they make her travel to infinity and many more places, boom, boom, swoosh, boom! they make her float and guide her flight with a moonbeam, she sleeps on a crater of the moon, where she gathers beautiful energy, the kind the little stars give her, with her little hands she makes those beautiful pieces, because she has a great love for humanity and she loves being taken to Earth where there are many boys and girls, sometimes she plays with them, when she has filled her basket with bright hearts she begins to sing, «Moon, little moon, make me a little light! Moon, little moon, make me a little light!»

Entonces escuchó a la estrella del oriente, ya es el tiempo del anuncio del nacimiento del pequeño Jesús, gracias por ayudarme Clarita, bella es tu labor te daré ¡polvo bríllate con más intensidad! Con mucha alegría y felicidad para que repartas la noticia con chicos y grandes, para que disfruten mucho este hermoso tiempo y convivan con el verdadero tesoro: ¡La familia! adiós Clarita nos vemos luego y brillo.

Clarita sonrió feliz, gracias estrella del oriente y apunto en su libreta, que los niños y niñas se pongan a adornar su pinito y su nacimiento, que me vean con claridad y sepan que habrá un pequeño pesebre donde el buen dios nacerá y ella misma se dijo – ¡Vamos Clarita, no tardes mucho! y sonrió – ¡hey! Te pondré en tu canasta una estrella especial para llenarla de fe, de alegría, de armonía y de paz lunar, – ¡Lunita hazme una lucecita! –  llévame a la tierra para llevar mis corazones y así poder adornar unos bellos pinitos que ya merito llega la navidad – ¡Luna, lunita, hazme una lucecita! Entonces desde muy lejos las estrellas escuchan su canto y como son amigas de la luna y a veces juegan tanto, le mandan un lucerito y polvo lunar.

Clarita smiled happily, thanking the star of the east, and wrote in her notebook that the boys and girls should start decorating their little Christmas tree and their nativity scene, that they should see her clearly and know that there will be a small manger where the good Lord will be born. And she said to herself, «Come on, Clarita, don’t be long!» and smiled. «Hey! I’ll put a special star in your basket to fill it with faith, joy, harmony, and moonlight.» «Little moon, make me a little light!» she exclaimed. «Take me to Earth so I can carry my hearts and decorate some beautiful little Christmas trees, because Christmas is almost here!» «Moon, little moon, make me a little light!» Then, from far away, the stars heard her song, and since they were friends with the moon and sometimes played together, they sent her a little star and moon dust.

¡Recontra chispas! La magia comienza ya, – je, je, je, – se hace ¡como de chicle! hasta que en un rayito cabe y la llevan a velocidad del polvo cósmico estelar – ¡Yupi, Yupi, Yupi! – y su viaje a la tierra en camino va. Entonces la magia comenzó, al abrir nuevamente los ojos ¡Que gran sorpresa se llevó! Estaba sobre un gran pinito natural, después de que se le quito un poquito lo mareado sonrió. ¡Manos a la obra! Entonces pudo ver que a pie de aquel pinito se reunía mucha gente a adornar ese gran pino que se encontraba en el mero centro de una ciudad, abajo había muchas familias llenas de cajitas para aquel árbol adornar, ella sonreía feliz, y con su magia arriba del pinito una bella estrella coloco.

Sparks fly! The magic begins now, – hee hee hee, – it becomes like chewing gum! until it fits in a tiny beam and is carried at the speed of cosmic stardust – Yay, Yay, Yay! – and its journey to Earth is underway. Then the magic began, when she opened her eyes again, what a great surprise she got! She was on a large, natural pine tree, after she calmed down a little she smiled. Let’s get to work! Then she could see that at the foot of that pine tree many people were gathering to decorate that large pine tree that was in the very center of a city, below there were many families full of little boxes to decorate that tree, she smiled happily, and with her magic she placed a beautiful star on top of the pine tree.

Entonces con su propia magia se hizo niña y con todos los pequeños niños convivió, poniéndole en sus cajitas sus corazones brillantes para adornar el pinito y el pesebre de navidad, canto muchos villancicos, quebró piñatas, comió dulces, buñuelos con canelita y disfruto de las posadas, como nuestra linda Luz Clarita.

Then, with her own magic, she became a little girl and lived among all the other children, placing her bright hearts in their little boxes to decorate the Christmas tree and the nativity scene. She sang many carols, broke piñatas, ate sweets and fritters with cinnamon, and enjoyed the posadas, just like our lovely Luz Clarita.

¡Estaba realmente feliz! Su canasta ya acabo – mmmmm – y el sueño le gano, al ver su canasta vacía exclamo, ¡Que bonito es lo bonito! ¡Por hoy termine! Entonces – ¡Pum, pam, sala, bim! – canto dulcemente – ¡Luna, lunita, hazme una lucecita! ¡Luna, ¡Lunita, hazme una lucecita! Y un bello rayito lunar se la llevo, con su amiga la luna que la extraño.

She was truly happy! Her basket was full – mmm – and sleep overtook her. Seeing her empty basket, she exclaimed, “How beautiful is beauty! I’m done for today!” Then – *Pum, pam, sala, bim!* – she sang sweetly – “Moon, little moon, make me a little light! Moon, little moon, make me a little light!” And a beautiful moonbeam carried her away to her friend the moon, who missed her.

Y si tienes corazón de niño, alguna vez mira una estrella en tu arbolito que es más brillante que las demás, – ¡no te preocupes! – fue la hada Luz Clarita que te la fue a regalar.

And if you have the heart of a child, ever look at a star on your little tree that is brighter than the others – don’t worry! – it was the fairy Luz Clarita who came to give it to you.
