Arroyo Ceballos’s work recognized in Newark

El reconocimiento al autor cordobés por su labor artística le ha sido otorgado por la Alcaldía de Newark, New Jersey

The recognition to the Cordoban author for his artistic work has been granted by the Mayor’s Office of Newark, New Jersey

En el emblemático escenario del Newark Symphony Hall y englobado en el marco de celebraciones por el Hispanic Heritage Month, mes de la herencia hispana en el que se reseña la contribución de los latinos en la vida estadounidense, se ha realizado un  evento especial presidido por el alcalde de dicha ciudad, Ras J. Baraka, en el que entre a otros, se ha reconocido la labor artística cultural del creador multidisciplinar andaluz Francisco Arroyo Ceballos.

On the emblematic stage of the Newark Symphony Hall and within the framework of celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month, a month of Hispanic heritage in which the contribution of Latinos to American life is highlighted, a special event was held chaired by the mayor of said city, Ras J. Baraka, in which, among others, the cultural artistic work of the multidisciplinary Andalusian creator Francisco Arroyo Ceballos was recognized.

En representación del autor que no pudo asistir por cuestiones personales recogió su reconocimiento Diego Muñoz (Presidente de la Cámara de Comercio Ecuatoriana Americana de NEW JERSEY) de la mano de Jaqueline Mercado Quiles (Vicealcaldesa de NEWARK).

On behalf of the author who could not attend due to personal reasons, Diego Muñoz (President of the Ecuadorian American Chamber of Commerce of NEW JERSEY) received his recognition from Jaqueline Mercado Quiles (Vice Mayor of NEWARK).

La anécdota del evento fue que el galardonado como oficial de policía del año coincidía en apellido con el de Arroyo y posó con su reconocimiento.

The anecdote of the event was that the winner of police officer of the year had the same last name as Arroyo and posed with his recognition.

Cabe indicar que este reconocimiento va acompañado de una muestra pictórica en dicho auditorio del proyecto galardonado 3.0 que Arroyo Ceballos comparte junto a sus compañeros Gotasi y José Domínguez y que vienen realizando en destacados emplazamientos de Estados Unidos como el Consulado General de Ecuador en Nueva York, el Union City Museum de New Jersey, la Fraser Mansion – Scientology National Affairs Office en Washington, el Essex County College de Newark, el Newark City Hall o más recientemente el Plainfield Performing Arts de New Jersey.

It should be noted that this recognition is accompanied by a pictorial exhibition in said auditorium of the award-winning 3.0 project that Arroyo Ceballos shares with his colleagues Gotasi and José Domínguez and that they have been carrying out in prominent locations in the United States such as the Consulate General of Ecuador in New York, the Union City Museum in New Jersey, the Fraser Mansion – Scientology National Affairs Office in Washington, the Essex County College in Newark, the Newark City Hall or more recently the Plainfield Performing Arts in New Jersey.

Arroyo Ceballos es un artista Multidisciplinar con alrededor de 140 muestras realizadas y obra en más de 30 instituciones y museos de una docena de  países. Nombrado en París en 2015 miembro de la Asoc. Internacional de Críticos de Arte AICA, es Director de la revista Espacio Cultura, Presidente de la Asociación Andaluza para el Fomento de la Cultura cREA y Delegado de la Asociación Española de Pintores y Escultores AEPE.

Arroyo Ceballos is a multidisciplinary artist with around 140 exhibitions and works in more than 30 institutions and museums in a dozen countries. Appointed in Paris in 2015 as a member of the International Association of Art Critics AICA, he is Director of Espacio Cultura magazine, President of the Andalusian Association for the Promotion of Culture cREA and Delegate of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors AEPE.
