Ante el lamentable hecho ocurrido en la terminal aérea de Santa Marta el pasado domingo 16 de Octubre en el que una aeronave se saliera de la pista, se pudo apreciar muy preocupada y consternada a la Alcaldesa del lugar la Sra.: Virna Johnson quién inmediatamente acudió al Centro de Salud donde se encuentran las víctimas de la tragedia, para darles el acompañamiento y apoyo distrital pero sobre todo humano a quienes hoy lloran la partida de un pequeño angelito.

Entre las noticias que nublaron este domingo la ciudad, se encuentra las graves lesiones que recibió una pequeña de 6 años en el accidente, la cual fue trasladada a la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI), por lo que la mandataria está atenta a la evolución de la menor, y espera que pronto se encuentre con sus seres queridos que ansiosos y con fe la esperan en casa.

Así mismo, indicó también la oficial, que fue restablecido las operaciones aéreas en la terminal al tiempo que se abrió una investigación pertinente del caso.
