Lebanon where coexistence hangs by a thread

Líbano convivía en perfecta armonía con sus 18 sectas religiosas, digna de ser exportada a los países donde la convivencia religiosa se ha vuelto objeto de discriminación e intolerancia.

Con una población aproximada de 6 millones de personas que profesan el Islam y el Cristianismo en proporciones no declaradas oficialmente, el actual Líbano ha logrado un equilibrio y una paz social inédita durante gran parte del siglo XX, caracterizado por guerras civiles y enfrentamientos con sus vecinos.

Vivimos ahora en una sociedad inventada, objeto de muchos años de programación y de estrategias de destrucción donde Ser Árabe para muchos denota terrorismo, miedo, temor y amenaza, haciendo que cualquier persona que se encuentre con un árabe procedente de Irán, de Irak, de Siria, de Líbano, entre otros países sin importar si es cristiano o musulmán, pero más si es musulmán, le hace volar su imaginación y su mente calenturienta para en automático discriminarle y no tolerarle.

We now live in an invented society, object of many years of programming and strategies of destruction
where being Arab for many denotes terrorism, fear and threat, making anyone who meets an Arab from Iran, Iraq, Syria, of Lebanon, among other countries regardless of whether he is Christian or Muslim, but more so if he is Muslim, it makes him fly his imagination and his heated mind to automatically discriminate against him and not tolerate him.

Numerosas generaciones han vivido y han sido testigos de una fusión de espíritu multi confesional y han sabido convivir amorosa y respetuosamente como una sola comunidad religiosa. Lamentablemente, en las últimas décadas ha surgido un espíritu mucho más potente que ha trazado el nuevo perfil de ese concepto multi confesional convirtiéndolo en una naturaleza desgarrada, un paisaje temido y una actitud racista, oscura y discriminatoria hacia los cristianos y musulmanes. Ese nuevo espíritu llamado nuevo mundo ha levantado oleadas de fervor religioso, de intolerancia hacia los otros y de división a causa de tantos atentados terroristas perpetrados alrededor del mundo, a causa de la intención de suprimir a los cristianos del planeta para sustituirlos por nuevas sectas y etnias hechas a la medida de esas nuevas potencias mundiales.

Many generations have lived and witnessed a fusion of multi-confessional spirit and have known how to coexist lovingly and respectfully as one religious community. Unfortunately, in recent decades a much more powerful spirit has emerged shaping the new profile of this multi-confessional concept, turning it into a torn nature, a feared landscape and a racist, dark and discriminatory attitude towards Christians and Muslims. This new spirit called the new world has raised waves of religious fervor, intolerance towards others and division due to so many terrorist attacks perpetrated around the world, due to the intention to suppress the Christians of the planet to replace them with new sects and ethnic groups tailored of the measure of these new world powers.

La convivencia se ha vuelto un rompecabezas contada por piezas según los intereses de la persona que la cuenta hecha a su medida provocando que cada vez más nos alejemos los unos de los otros poniendo de por medio la cuestión religiosa sin detenernos un segundo a pensar si es cierto lo que se cuenta de cada confesión. Vivimos en una tragedia humana en la cual ofendemos fríamente al que es diferente a nosotros, volviéndonos extremistas, tejiendo un túnel destructivo que sirve a los intereses de aquellos que han distorsionado la bella imagen de la convivencia confesional libanesa de la cual hemos sido testigos por muchísimos años.

Coexistence has become a puzzle counted by pieces according to the interests of the person who has made it their own, causing us to distance ourselves more and more from each other, putting the religious question in the middle without stopping a second to think if it is true what is told of each confession. We live in a human tragedy in which we coldly offend those who are different from us, becoming extremists, weaving a destructive tunnel that serves the interests of those who have distorted the beautiful image of the Lebanese confessional coexistence which we have witnessed by so many years.

Más una cosa es cierta, no existe un auténtico mundo musulmán y no existe un mundo puro cristiano que debe dominar. En el verdadero Islam, el terrorismo no existe. El Cristianismo es una religión de paz y tolerancia. En el Islam y en el Cristianismo, al enemigo se le trata con misericordia, la tortura se prohíbe. En el Islam no se insta a atacar inocentes y niños, y en el Cristianismo no se insta a la guerra ni atacar a musulmanes.

But one thing is certain, there is no authentic Muslim world and there is no pure Christian world that must dominate. In true Islam, terrorism does not exist. Christianity is a religion of peace and tolerance. In Islam and Christianity, the enemy is treated with mercy, torture is prohibited. In Islam it is not urged to attack innocents and children, and in Christianity it is not urged to war or to attack Muslims.

Pero sí existe en el mundo hombres maniáticos y desequilibrados que emplean drogas, estrategias miserables, amenazas, puntos débiles y técnicas chantajistas para lavados de cerebro que potencian el valor al suicidio y elimina el miedo de morir, perseguir y matar en nombre de Dios. Sí existen ideales y causas que alientan el odio, el racismo, la arrogancia, la difamación y la pérdida de la confianza en sí mismo.

But there are maniacal and unbalanced men in the world who use drugs, miserable strategies, threats, weak points and blackmailing techniques for brainwashing that enhance the courage to suicide and eliminate the fear of dying, persecuting and killing in the name of God. There are ideals and causes that encourage hatred, racism, arrogance, defamation, and loss of self-confidence.

Tristemente nos encontramos con que Islam y terror son frecuentemente mencionados juntos en los medios de comunicación. Existe un caos terminológico creado en este nuevo orden mundial, palabras que ya han perdido su verdadero significado. El Islam y el Cristianismo consideran el asesinato como un pecado y un crimen capital respectivamente. La comunidad multi confesional existente en Líbano contempla la vida humana como elevada e inviolable.

Sadly we find that Islam and terror are frequently mentioned together in the media. There is a terminological chaos created in this new world order, words that have already lost their true meaning. Islam and Christianity consider murder a sin and a capital crime respectively. The existing multi-confessional community in Lebanon views human life as elevated and inviolable.

Que renazca una vez más ese sentimiento tan inocente con el fin de hallar paz y amor, de transmitirlo a las próximas generaciones e inculcar las buenas acciones de tolerancia y respeto. El terrorismo no se trata únicamente de atacar y matarse, sino que también se crea terrorismo al deshacer una comunidad, al despedazar las palabras y asignarles un nuevo significado tallado a la medida de los miserables que no creen en religiones, ni buenas acciones e intenciones.

May that innocent feeling be reborn once again in order to find peace and love, to transmit it to the next generations and to instill the good actions of tolerance and respect. Terrorism is not only about attacking and killing oneself, but also terrorism is created by undoing a community, by tearing up words and assigning them a new meaning carved to the measure of the miserable   who do not believe in religions, or good actions and intentions.

Hoy ha surgido una nueva comprensión errónea de la convivencia musulmana cristiana la cual ha sido siempre el centro de orgullo y de enfoque de todas las potencias del mundo y que en cierta medida, otras potencias han intentado distorsionar esa imagen ejemplar enraizada en la sangre de cada ciudadano libanés y en la mente de cada turista o extranjero que visita el país de los Cedros y se encuentra con tan amplia diversidad religiosa en perfecta paz y armonía.

Today a new erroneous understanding of Christian- Muslim coexistence has emerged, which has always been the center of pride and focus of all the powers of the world and that to some extent, other powers have tried to distort that exemplary image rooted in the blood of each Lebanese citizen and in the mind of every tourist or foreigner who visits the country of Cedars and find such wide religious diversity in perfect peace and harmony.

Pero hoy, Los grandes acontecimientos referentes a la esfera de lo mundial, internacional y global han dado paso a redefinir históricamente el concepto de multi confesionalismo actual que existe y que ha existido desde hace siglos en el país medioriental Líbano.

But today, the great events concerning the world, international and global sphere have given way to historically redefine the concept of current multi-confessionalism that exists and has existed for centuries in the middle-eastern country Lebanon.

Líbano debe recordar siempre que el musulmán y el cristiano convive desde tiempos remotos en un contexto de contagio armónico, sensato, respetuoso y tolerante para con el otro.
