Independence Festivals of Cartagena de Indias. National Beauty Pageant 2025.

Ambos eventos que enmarcan todas las Festividades de la Independencia de la Corona Española de Cartagena de Indias, llegaron a su fin este 17 de noviembre del 2025.

Both events that frame all the Independence Festivities from the Spanish Crown in Cartagena de Indias came to an end on November 17, 2025.

THE INDEPENDENCE FESTIVALS

Son las celebraciones mas importantes y esperadas del año, se realizan en el mes de noviembre y mezclan historia, cultura, música, baile, folclor y alegrías por doquier. Estas fiestas conmemoran y celebra la Independencia de Cartagena del dominio español, proclamado el 11 de noviembre de 1811, siendo la primera ciudad colombiana en liberarse del yugo español.

These are the most important and anticipated celebrations of the year, held in the month of November, blending history, culture, music, dance, folklore, and joy everywhere. These festivals commemorate and celebrate the Independence of Cartagena from Spanish rule, proclaimed on November 11, 1811, being the first Colombian city to free itself from the Spanish yoke.

Con diferentes actividades desde el mes de octubre se inicia la programación de estas grandes fiestas todas enmarcadas por la Alegría innata de los Cartageneros.

With various activities starting from the month of October, the programming for these great festivals begins, all framed by the innate joy of the people of Cartagena.

Con una participación de 39 hermosas mujeres se celebro el Reinado de la Independencia donde fue elegida Faylin Rodríguez del barrio Blas de Leso como Reina de la Independencia 2025-2026

With the participation of 39 beautiful women, the Independence Pageant was celebrated, where Faylin Rodríguez from the Blas de Lezo neighborhood was elected as Queen of Independence 2025-2026.

Al señor Gobernador del Departamentos de Bolívar, Yamil Arana, al Alcalde Mayor Dumek Turbay Paz y la directora del Instituto de Patrimonio y Cultura Lucy Espinosa Diaz, grandes reconocimientos por tan magnificas fiestas celebradas.

To the Governor of the Department of Bolívar, Yamil Arana, to the Mayor Dumek Turbay Paz, and the director of the Institute of Heritage and Culture Lucy Espinosa Diaz, great recognition for such magnificent festivals celebrated.

También en la noche del lunes 17 de noviembre, llegó a su final el Concurso Nacional de la Belleza 2025, con la participación de 26 hermosas mujeres representando a su Departamentos, ciudad y Región, que competían por el titulo de Señorita Colombia 2025-2026.

Also on the night of Monday, November 17, the National Beauty Contest 2025 came to an end, with the participation of 26 beautiful women representing their Departments, cities, and Regions, competing for the title of Miss Colombia 2025-2026.

Con un Jurado integrado por 3 señoritas Colombia, Andrea Nocceti, Catalina Daza, Sofia Ossio y la Virreina Nacional Melissa Varón después de la entrevista privada, desfile en traje de baño y gala, eligió a 5 finalistas para el Podio Real, el cual quedo conformado de la siguiente manera.

With a Jury composed of 3 former Miss Colombias: Andrea Nocceti, Catalina Daza, Sofia Ossio, and the National Vicereine Melissa Varón, after the private interview, swimsuit and gala parade, they selected 5 finalists for the Royal Podium, which was composed as follows:

El concurso nacional de la belleza en sus 91 años de existencia con el lema Mas que belleza  volvió a brillar en Cartagena de Indias, felicitamos al gran ciudadano cartagenero Raymundo Angulo Pizarro presidente de este concurso por tan excelente eventos que resalta la belleza, virtud y cualidades de la mujer colombiana y se demostró una vez mas que para Colombia y Cartagena el CNB es el Real Concurso de Belleza del país.

The National Beauty Contest, in its 91 years of existence with the slogan «More than Beauty,» shone once again in Cartagena de Indias. We congratulate the great Cartagena citizen Raymundo Angulo Pizarro, president of this contest, for such an excellent event that highlights the beauty, virtue, and qualities of Colombian women, and it was demonstrated once more that for Colombia and Cartagena, the CNB is the Real Beauty Contest of the country.
