Con gran éxito termino en la ciudad de Montería, Costa Atlántica de Colombia el Festival Iberoamericano de Arte y Cultura por la Paz y el Medio Ambiente -FIBAC 2025

The Ibero-American Festival of Art and Culture for Peace and the Environment (FIBAC 2025) concluded with great success in the city of Montería, on the Atlantic Coast of Colombia.

Se conto con la presencia de Héctor Omar Salcedo Presidente de Nevado de Oro y una lujosa delegación de la Argentina, Sandra Benavides Pinzón Directora Nacional de FIBAC Colombia, Mauricio Mayorga artista ambientalista y Marie Khouri artista visual originaria del Líbano símbolo de resiliencia y Paz, personajes que le dieron el sello internacional a este gran Encuentro por el Arte, la culturas y el medio ambiente.

The event was attended by Héctor Omar Salcedo, President of Nevado de Oro, and a distinguished delegation from Argentina; Sandra Benavides Pinzón, National Director of FIBAC Colombia; Mauricio Mayorga, an environmental artist; and Marie Khouri, a visual artist originally from Lebanon, a symbol of resilience and peace. These figures gave this great gathering for art, culture, and the environment an international stamp.

Montería Perla del Sinú, es la capital del Departamento de Córdoba, se encuentra ubicada a orilla del Rio Sinú, fue fundada el 1 de mayo de 1777 y cuenta con una población de 500.000 habitantes, con una vocación ganadera y agrícola, con muchos sitios de interés turísticos por visitar como La Ronda del Rio Sinú, Ecoparque Zenú, Golfo del Morrosquillo entre otros fue la ciudad anfitriona para los visitantes y asistente a este gran  Festival. Mostró porque es una de las diez ciudades mas sostenibles de mundo.

Monterría, Perla del Sinú, is the capital of the Department of Córdoba. It is located on the banks of the Sinú River. Founded on May 1, 1777, Montería has a population of 500,000. Its main focus is livestock and agriculture, and it boasts many tourist attractions such as La Ronda del Rio Sinú, the Zenú Ecopark, and the Gulf of Morrosquillo, among others. It was the host city for visitors and attendees of this great festival. It demonstrated why it is one of the ten most sustainable cities in the world.

También se recibieron muchas tapas plásticas donadas por muchas organizaciones, para un próximo monumento dedicado a la Sostenibilidad y el medio ambiente.

Many plastic caps were also received, donated by various organizations, for an upcoming monument dedicated to sustainability and the environment.

Hacemos un reconocimiento especial a la artista visual del Líbano Marie Khouri, quien fue herida durante la guerra con Siria, quedando en condición de discapacidad. Su obra profundamente religiosa trasmite el anhelo de reconciliación y esperanza. Reconocida internacionalmente por su fortaleza y talento, ha convertido el dolor en inspiración, siendo un faro artístico y humano para la paz.

We give special recognition to Lebanese visual artist Marie Khouri, who was wounded during the war with Syria, leaving her disabled. Her deeply religious work conveys a yearning for reconciliation and hope. Internationally recognized for her strength and talent, she has turned pain into inspiration, serving as an artistic and human beacon for peace.
