Ama Magdalena – Colombia River Cruise

Se inicio en Colombia, ciudad de Cartagena, el primer crucero fluvial de Colombia por el majestuoso histórico Rio Magdalena, la nave AmaMagdalena de la prestigios firma de cruceros de lujo AmaWater ways,inicio su travesía zarpando de la bahía de Cartagena, con 60 pasajeros entre turistas e invitados especiales y con una tripulación 100% colombiana.

The first river cruise in Colombia along the majestic and historic Magdalena River began in Cartagena, Colombia. The AmaMagdalena ship, owned by the prestigious luxury cruise company AmaWaterways, departed from Cartagena Bay with 60 passengers, including tourists and special guests, and a 100% Colombian crew.

El 80% de este recorrido se hace por el departamento de Bolívar, pueblos ribereños del Canal del Dique y el Rio Grande la Magdalena, desde Cartagena de Indias hasta Mompox un sueño hecho realidad y uniendo por el rio dos Joyas del Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad.

Una travesía que supo a enamorar tanto a turistas como invitados, conociendo estas comunidades ribereñas que le dieron una espectacular acogida a sus visitantes y dar a conocer sus riquezas naturales y culturales de esta Región del Caribe Colombiano y su primera parada en el municipio de Calamar donde sus habitantes los recibieron con una cálida bienvenida con muestras folclóricas y una exhibición de productos artesanales que deleito a los visitantes provenientes de USA, Canadá y Europa. Al continuar su travesía su siguiente parada fue en Magangué, conocida como La Capital de los Ríos, donde en este puerto fluvial los visitantes recorrieron el mercado público local, probaron frutas del trópico, y el famoso Sancocho de Pescado. Así mismo en un paseo en lancha pudieron hacer avistamiento de aves, la biodiversidad del Rio Magdalena con su vegetación exuberante que encierra esta bella región arterial fluvial vital de Colombia.

A journey that captivated both tourists and guests, getting to know these riverside communities that gave a spectacular welcome to their visitors and introducing them to the natural and cultural riches of this region of the Colombian Caribbean. Their first stop was the municipality of Calamar, where its inhabitants greeted them with a warm welcome, featuring folklore displays and a display of handcrafted products that delighted visitors from the USA, Canada, and Europe. Continuing their journey, their next stop was Magangué, known as the Capital of the Rivers, where in this river port, visitors toured the local public market, sampled tropical fruits, and the famous Fish Sancocho. A boat ride also provided the opportunity to observe birdwatching and the biodiversity of the Magdalena River with its lush vegetation that encloses this beautiful region, a vital river artery of Colombia.

Ya en Mompox Joya Colonial Patrimonio de la Unesco, los turistas y invitados recorrieron sus calles empedradas, visitaron históricas iglesias y con una Cena en tierra firme disfrutaron de la gastronomía llena de sabores de esta tierra Momposina.

Already in Mompox, a Colonial Jewel and UNESCO World Heritage Site, tourists and guests strolled through its cobblestone streets, visited historic churches, and enjoyed dinner on land, a gastronomy full of flavors from the Mompox region.
