A la Presidencia del Club Rotario Cartagena de Indias, en días pasados tomo su juramento la Economista Clara Inés Sagre Hernández, para el periodo 2024-2025.

In recent days, Economist Clara Inés Sagre Hernández took her oath of office as President of the Rotary Club of Cartagena de Indias, for the period 2024-2025.

Magister en Educación, candidata a Doctora en Estudios Organizacionales con mas de 15 años de experiencia en el sector de Comercio Exterior y mas de 20 años en Administración de la Educación Superior. Líder de equipos multidisciplinarios, con aptitudes para la coordinación y gestión de procesos educativos.

Master in Education, PhD candidate in Organizational Studies with more than 15 years of experience in the Foreign Trade sector and more than 20 years in Higher Education Administration. Leader of multidisciplinary teams, with skills for coordination and management of educational processes.

Nos dice que su principal motivación y pasión son el servicio comunitario y la educación, con el convencimiento pleno de que motivando, impulsando y educando, se logra construir una mejor sociedad.

He tells us that his main motivation and passion are community service and education, with the full conviction that by motivating, encouraging and educating, we can build a better society.

Esta es la gran líder que tiene la responsabilidad de dirigir al Club Rotario Cartagena de Indias, club con as de 17 años de servicio, fundado en mayo de 2007 en la ciudad de Cartagena, cuenta con 29 miembros activos, todos lideres profesionales y empresariales, trabajando con su tiempo, talento y servicio comunitario para atender a los mas necesitados, como Gente de Acción en los programas de Proyección Comunitaria que el Club Realiza.

This is the great leader who has the responsibility of directing the Cartagena de Indias Rotary Club, a club with 17 years of service, founded in May 2007 in the city of Cartagena, it has 29 active members, all professional and business leaders, working with their time, talent and community service to serve those most in need, as People of Action in the Community Outreach programs that the Club carries out.

Clara Inés tiene una vida rotaria muy completa de verdadero liderazgo y acción, ingreso a la organización en diciembre del 2016, y desde esa época se ha desempeñado como presidente del Comité de nuevas generaciones, comité de Administración, y secretaria. A nivel del Distrito 4271 ha sido presidente del Subcomité de Involucramiento de socios, Secretaria Distrital, Presidente del Comité de Intercambio de Servicios de Nuevas generaciones y Mentora Certificada.

Clara Inés has a very complete Rotary life of true leadership and action, joining the organization in December 2016, and since that time she has served as president of the New Generations Committee, Administration Committee, and secretary. At the District 4271 level, she has been president of the Member Involvement Subcommittee, District Secretary, President of the New Generations Services Exchange Committee and Certified Mentor.

El Club Rotaria Cartagena de Indias, en la actualidad cuenta con 1 Club Rotaract Cartagena de Indias, 1 Club Interact Cartagena de Indias y 2 Grupos de Fomento a la Comunidad.

The Rotary Club Cartagena de Indias currently has 1 Rotaract Club Cartagena de Indias, 1 Interact Club Cartagena de Indias and 2 Community Development Groups.

Con programas y subvenciones en alianzas con clubes rotarios del exterior, se ha realizados proyectos de gran trascendencia como el Oasis de Jacquin, Centro experimental Pedagógico ambiental de Cartagena de Indias, Programa de educación con el Club Interact, ETC.

With programs and subsidies in alliances with Rotary clubs abroad, projects of great importance have been carried out such as the Jacquin Oasis, the experimental Environmental Pedagogical Center of Cartagena de Indias, the education program with the Interact Club, ETC.
