• El público valenciano se vuelca con la Gala Top RNB The Valencian public turns to the Top RNB Gala

Modesto Lomba, Elio Berhanyer, Custo Dalmau, Jesús del Pozo, Pedro del Hierro, Manolo Blahnik, Montesinos, Amparo Chorda´, Adolfo Domínguez o Balenciaga, son algunos de los nombres de diseñadores españoles escritos con letras de oro en el panorama de la moda internacional. La tradición y el buen gusto en los diseños y las pasarelas de los grandes creadores españoles ha sido más que reconocido en todo el mundo.

Modesto Lomba, Elio Berhanyer, Custo Dalmau, Jesús del Pozo, Pedro del Hierro, Manolo Blahnik, Montesinos, Amparo Chorda´, Adolfo Domínguez or Balenciaga, these are some of the names of Spanish designers written in gold letters on the international fashion scene. The tradition and good taste in the designs and catwalks of the great Spanish creators has been more than recognized throughout the world.

Valencia recibió con agrado en un ambiente distendido y glamouroso la «Gala Top» de la Reina Nacional de la Belleza (RNB) llevada a cabo éste domingo 24 de julio en el marco incomparable de «Palau Alameda».

Valencia welcomed the «Top Gala» of the National Queen of Beauty (RNB) in a relaxed and glamorous atmosphere, held this Sunday, July 24, in the incomparable setting of «Palau Alameda».

Allí se dieron cita representantes de distintos sectores, todos o muchos de ellos relacionados con la belleza y la moda, avalando de esta forma el proyecto iniciado por sus recientemente estrenados organizadores Juan Murgui, Santi López y Ángel Cazallas como presidente de la Delegación Comunidad Valenciana y que representa a sus tres provincias: Alicante, Castellón y Valencia. Lina Lavin, Tono Sanmartín, Isabel Gómez, Victor Cucart y María Rosa Fenollar quien ejerció de presidenta, formaron el Jurado de éste Certamen en el que un nutrido grupo de jóvenes aspirantes se presentaban como candidatas a alzarse con alguna de las cuatro categorías «Top». «Top bañador», «Top model», «Top sonrisa bonita» y «Top multimedia» con las que abrirse  camino hacia la siguiente convocatoria. Perfectamente organizado, la realidad es que este tipo de Certámenes requieren de enorme esfuerzo y un disciplinado trabajo en equipo.

Representatives from different sectors gathered there, all or many of them related to beauty and fashion, endorsing in this way the project initiated by its recently released organizers Juan Murgui, Santi López and Ángel Cazallas as president of the Valencian Community Delegation and that represents its three provinces: Alicante, Castellón and Valencia. Lina Lavin, Tono Sanmartín, Isabel Gónez, Victor Cucart and María Rosa Fenollar who acted as president, formed the Jury of this Contest in which a large group of young applicants presented themselves as candidates to win one of the four «Top» categories. «Top swimsuit», «Top model», «Top beautiful smile» and «Top multimedia» with which to make your way to the next call. Perfectly organized, the reality is that this type of event requires enormous effort and disciplined teamwork.

Cincuenta personas en el backstage y la organización en general a las que sumar alrededor de 25 o 30 candidatas y 12 o 15 candidatos masculinos por cada una de las tres provincias que forman la Comunidad Valenciana pueden darnos una ligera idea del enorme trabajo que todo esto supone.

Fifty people backstage and the organization in general, to which we can add around 25 or 30 female candidates and 12 or 15 male candidates for each of the three provinces that make up the Valencian Community, can give us a slight idea of ​​the enormous work that all this entails.

En ésta gran celebración de la moda quedó patente el entusiasmo e interés que despierta en el público valenciano este tipo de eventos y que se vistió de Gala recibiendo además a grandes profesionales del sector vinculados estrechamente con la moda y la belleza y representantes de la sociedad mas sofisticada de la capital del Turia. Aclamada por un público entregado que, por primera vez, tuvo la oportunidad de votar «in situ» a su favorita dentro del apartado «Miss Popularidad»  Alba Cardo -que así se llama la ganadora que también se alzó con el «Top Multimedia» otorgado en ésta ocasión por el Jurado- disfrutaba pasadas algunas horas de este reconocimiento y de su éxito «agradecida y emocionada. No esperé jamás que esto fuera a pasarme a mí. Fue todo muy emocionante. Desde la llegada al lugar donde desfilábamos podíamos percibir la simpatia con la que el público nos recibía, su cariño y su complicidad».

In this great celebration of fashion, the enthusiasm and interest that this type of event arouses in the Valencian public was evident and that it dressed as a Gala, also receiving great professionals from the sector closely linked to fashion and beauty and representatives of the more sophisticated of the Turia capital. Acclaimed by a dedicated public that, for the first time, had the opportunity to vote «in situ» for their favorite in the «Miss Popularity» section, Alba Cardo -which is the name of the winner who also won the «Top Multimedia» award on this occasion by the Jury – enjoyed after a few hours of this recognition and its success «grateful and excited. I never expected this to happen to me. It was all very exciting. From the moment we arrived at the place where we paraded we could perceive the sympathy with which the public received us, their affection and their complicity».

Con tan solo 19 años ésta joven del municipio valenciano de Godella, estudiante de educación infantil y dependienta de un establecimiento de ropa, es amante del deporte y disfruta pasando tiempo con la familia y sus amigos. Entiende este logro «como algo bonito que me ha pasado en la vida sin esperarlo pero que todavía no he digerido. No quiero apartarme de la enseñanza porque me encanta y todavía soy joven para decidir mi camino».

At only 19 years old, this young woman from the Valencian municipality of Godella, an early childhood education student and a clothing store clerk, is a sports lover and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Understands this achievement “as something beautiful that has happened to me in life without expecting it but that I have not yet digested. I don’t want to leave teaching because I love it and I’m still too young to decide my path”. «

La firma Brotocó Atelier estuvo muy bien representada por su fundadora María Rosa Fenollar con quien compartió noche su hija, la encantadora Judith Mas Fenollar. Ambas son las únicas responsables de ésta firma y sus diseños. Colaboran infatigables en todo aquello que tenga que ver con la moda y los desfiles de sus diseños que son ampliamente valorados por el público.

The firm Brotocó Atelier was very well represented by its founder María Rosa Fenollar with whom her daughter, the lovely Judith Mas Fenollar. Both are solely responsible for this firm and its designs. They collaborate tirelessly in everything that has to do with fashion and the parades of their designs that are widely valued by the public.

Según Judith: «todo salió muy bien porque yo me sentí en todo momento muy cómoda en manos de su principal organizador Ángel Cazallas y el equipo de RNB». Sonrisas, glamour, vestidos de grandes firmas, invitados entregados y ávidos de conocer las cualidades de las chicas…… todo dió pie a una celebración ajustada a lo que se entiende por un Certámen de belleza convertido en ocasión especial para celebrar la época estival y los buenos deseos de cara a un futuro en el que la moda brille con luz propia y de nuevo en la Comunidad Valenciana.

According to Judith: «Everything went very well because I felt very comfortable at all times in the hands of its main organizer Ángel Cazallas and the RNB team». Smiles, glamour, dresses from big brands, dedicated guests eager to know the qualities of the girls… everything gave rise to a celebration adjusted to what is understood by a Beauty Contest turned into a special occasion to celebrate the summer season and good wishes for a future in which fashion shines with its own light and again in the Valencian Community.

Pendiente queda la selección de los candidatos a mister que se celebrara durante la primera semana de agosto en Málaga. Y será ya en mayo de 2023 cuando, tras una suerte de Galas de selección similares a ésta, 52 representantes de las distintas provincias españolas aspiren a la corona de Reina Nacional de la Belleza  para posteriormente presentarse como candidatas a Reina Supranacional en Polonia sede oficial del Certámen.

Pending is the selection of the candidates for Mr. to be held during the first week of August in Malaga. Entre las intenciones de la Organización según palabras del propio Ángel Cazallas se encuentra «desclasificarse o distinguirse un poco de los Certámenes de belleza más conocidos y al uso. Nosotros aspiramos a dar formación y apoyo a los y las jovenes con clases de oratoria, protocolo, inglés, automaquillaje, estilismo y nutrición para completar tanto su formación en el sector de la moda como su crecimiento y desarrollo personal. Agradecer a todos los que han contribuido ya sea con su trabajo o patrocinio, o ambas cosas, a llevar adelante éste magnífico proyecto del que hemos recogido el testigo hace tan solo unos meses y al público que nos acompañó».

Among the intentions of the Organization, according to the words of Ángel Cazallas himself, is «Declassify yourself or distinguish yourself a little from the most well-known and usual beauty contests. We aspire to provide training and support to young people with classes in public speaking, protocol, English, make-up, styling and nutrition to complete both their training in the fashion sector and their growth and personal development. Judith Mas Fenollar es una conocida y muy querida representante de la moda en Valencia. Junto a María Rosa Fenollar forma un tándem como ella misma dice «imbatible porque en casa he vivido la pasión por la moda desde pequeña». Juntas en este acto como en tantas ocasiones, que no revueltas, reconoce «haber disfrutado muchísimo al presentarlo y haberme resultado todo muy fácil. Ángel es un hombre encantador y las chicas no podían ser más simpáticas y amables. Todo se desarrolló en un ambiente de armonía que me permitió disfrutar como nunca de lo que estaba haciendo».

Judith Mas Fenollar is a well-known and well-liked representative of fashion in Valencia. Together with María Rosa Fenollar, she forms a tandem as she herself says «unbeatable because at home I have lived a passion for fashion since I was a child». Together in this act as on so many occasions, not riots, admits «having really enjoyed presenting it and everything was very easy for me. Ángel is a charming man and the girls could not be more friendly and kind. Everything took place in an atmosphere of harmony that allowed me to enjoy what I was doing like never before.»

«No queremos que ninguna aspirante se sienta discriminada o contrariada» -nos dice Ángel Cazallas– de hecho evitamos utilizar términos como eliminada o hacer de ello parte del evento. Todas son muy bellas e inteligentes y con una excelente formación. Y aunque muchas son muy jovenes esto no deja de ser un concurso».

«We don’t want any applicant to feel discriminated against or upset» – Ángel Cazallas tells us – in fact we avoid using terms such as eliminated or making it part of the event. They are all very beautiful and intelligent and well educated. And although many are very young, this is still a contest.»
