COLOMBIA: DANIELA RESTREPO HENAO, HEADING TO THE MISS LATIN AMERICA OF THE WORLD 2021

Desde Santa Marta, la Bahía más linda de América, se alista la joven Daniela Restrepo Henao, quien será la encargada de representar a Colombia en el Reinado Miss América Latina del Mundo 2021, certamen que se realizará el próximo mes de octubre del 07 al 14 de Octubre, en Punta Cana República Dominicana y que tiene como propósito reunir en un mismo escenario a las mujeres latinoamericanas para destacar sus valores, esfuerzos y distintas culturas.

From Santa Marta, the most beautiful bay in America, the young Daniela Restrepo Henao, who will be in charge of representing Colombia in the Miss Latin America of the World Reign 2021, contest that will be held next October from October 7 to 14, in Punta Cana Dominican Republic and whose purpose is to bring together Latin American women on the same stage to highlight their values, efforts and different cultures.

Trabajadora, carismática e inteligente, así es considerada la samaria, quien además de portar el título de su país, es contadora pública y atleta de alto rendimiento. Desde muy pequeña se vio impulsada a forjar su propio camino y sintió gran inclinación por el mundo del modelaje, lo que le permitió venir explorando esta compleja industria en la que actualmente le fue otorgada la responsabilidad de ser la cara de nuestro país.

Hardworking, charismatic and intelligent, this is how Samaria is considered, who in addition to carrying the title of her country, is a public accountant and high performance athlete. From a very young age, she was driven to forge her own path and felt a great inclination for the world of modeling, which allowed her to come exploring this complex industry in which she was currently given the responsibility of being the face of our country.

“Durante toda mi vida he estado encaminada a la disciplina, al respeto y a ser muy responsable, me encanta leer, bailar, soy muy alegre. Desde muy niña he venido trabajando en pro a salir adelante, fui becada en la universidad y gracias a eso soy contadora pública”, contó a Diario LA LIBERTAD la representante de Colombia.

“Throughout my life I have been directed towards discipline, to respect and to be very responsible, I love to read, to dance, I am very happy. Since I was a little girl I have been working to get ahead, I received a scholarship at the university and thanks to that I am a public accountant, «the representative of Colombia told Diario LA LIBERTAD.

La oportunidad de ser una de las candidatas al título de Miss América Latina del Mundo 2021, llegó a la vida de Daniela Restrepo H. luego de una ardua preparación, de realizar algunos casting y entrevistas que le permitieron demostrar el talento, la alegría y el intelecto que tanto la caracteriza, mismos que seguramente la harán resaltar en cualquier escenario del que se proponga ser parte y por qué no, traerse con ella la corona.

The opportunity to be one of the candidates for the title of Miss Latin America of the World 2021, came to the life of Daniela Restrepo H. after arduous preparation, to carry out some casting and interviews that allowed her to demonstrate the talent, joy and intellect that characterizes her so much, which will surely make her stand out in any scenario of which she intends to be a part and why not, bring the crown with her.

Con 25 años de edad, la joven ha participado en distintos concursos, entre estos, el Reinado Nacional del Café, reto que le permitió adquirir experiencia y conocimientos respecto a la preparación en pasarela, etiqueta y glamour, conceptos que considera necesarios no solo para poder ser parte de estos espacios, sino también para lograr tener un buen desempeño durante las presentaciones.

With 25 years of age, the young woman has participated in different competitions, among them, the National Coffee Reign, a challenge that allowed her to gain experience and knowledge regarding catwalk preparation, etiquette and glamor, concepts that she considers necessary not only to be able to be part of these spaces, but also to achieve a good performance during the presentations.

También hizo parte del Reinado Nacional del Turismo, encuentro en el que entró al top 5 de finalistas y ocupó el puesto de Tercera Princesa. Luego de ambos desafíos y de una exhausta preparación llegó más enfocada este reinado, obteniendo finalmente el título de Reina de la policía. El Miss América Latina del Mundo sería la primera vez que Restrepo participa en un certamen de talla internacional.

She was also part of the National Tourism Reign, a meeting in which she entered the top 5 finalists and was ranked Third Princess. After both challenges and exhausting preparation, this reign came more focused, finally obtaining the title of Queen of the Police. The Miss Latin America of the World would be the first time that Restrepo participates in a contest of international stature.

Respecto a las expectativas que tiene con este concurso, la joven señaló que, “Cada reinado es una vitrina para lo que nosotros queremos en la vida, es el escenario perfecto para mostrar quiénes somos, está vez voy con el nombre de Colombia, un país que si lo vemos desde la parte turística, desarrollo y cultura, tiene mucho de qué hablar, creo que la mejor expectativa que puedo tener es poder demostrar a parte de todo lo que ya mencioné, resaltar la mujer del ciclo actual. Soy joven y a través de mi historia deseo representar todas esas mujeres emprendedoras que después de esta terrible pandemia han podido salir adelante en los distintos ámbitos. Eso es lo mejor que puedo hacer”.

Regarding the expectations she has with this contest, the young woman pointed out that, “Each reign is a showcase for what we want in life, it is the perfect setting to show who we are, this time I go with the name of Colombia, a country that if we see it from the tourist, development and cultural side, has a lot What to talk about, I think the best expectation I can have is to be able to demonstrate, apart from everything I already mentioned, to highlight the woman of the current cycle. I am young and through my history I want to represent all those entrepreneurial women who, after this terrible pandemic, have been able to get ahead in different areas. That’s the best I can do ”.

Durante la entrevista con el medio, la candidata también compartió un poco sobre lo que para ella significa su ciudad, por lo que aseguró que, “Santa Marta lo es todo, es una ciudad que me ha dado a mi familia y todo lo que soy hoy en día, además, a parte de ser un destino turístico por excelencia de Colombia, es un lugar donde lo encontramos todo, tenemos playas, la Perla de América, una de las reservas naturales más importantes del país como lo es Parque Nacional Tayrona, este es el lugar a donde podemos llegar y disfrutar de las buenas cosas”.

During the interview with the media, the candidate also shared a little about what her city means to her, for which she assured that, “Santa Marta is everything, it is a city that has given me my family and everything I am today, in addition, apart from being a tourist destination par excellence in Colombia, it is a place where we find everything, we have beaches , the Pearl of America, one of the most important natural reserves in the country such as Tayrona National Park, this is the place where we can go and enjoy the good things ”.

Una reina multifacética / A multi-faceted queen

Además de ser apasionada por las pasarelas, la moda y el estilo, también es amante a los negocios, actualmente tiene su propia marca de vestidos de baño y cuenta con un taller que se ha convertido en un espacio educativo para compartir con otras mujeres emprendedoras sus conocimientos de contadora; todo esto con el objetivo de facilitarle herramientas fundamentales a aquellas que sueñen con construir u organizar su empresa.

In addition to being passionate about catwalks, fashion and style, she is also a lover of business, currently has her own brand of swimwear and has a workshop that has become an educational space to share with other enterprising women their knowledge of accountant; all this with the aim of providing fundamental tools to those who dream of building or organizing their business.

El Miss América Latina del Mundo es un certamen que viene organizándose desde el año 1981, sin embargo en varias ocasiones no se pudo realizar debido a distintas circunstancias, por lo que este año se estará llevando a cabo en Punta Cana su edición número 34. Hasta el momento 10 han sido las candidatas confirmadas a disputarse el título.

The Miss Latin America of the World is a contest that has been organizing since 1981, however on several occasions it could not be held due to different circumstances, so this year its 34th edition will be held in Punta Cana. the moment 10 have been the confirmed candidates to dispute the title.
