Las circunstancias que se van repitiendo en la sociedad nacional, claramente agrietada, obligan a volver sobre una cuestión.

El nivel de confrontación entre quienes gobiernan y quienes están en la oposición se acerca a lo apocalíptico. Al menos los discursos y actitudes públicas, hacen que surquen el aire vientos arrastrando agravios, cinismos, mentiras y una suerte de patoterismo militante que desorienta a la ciudadanía y la inflama del virus del fanatismo empujándola al fango de los dogmas y la dilución de la benevolencia.

Hay un vocablo latino con el que se designaba un miembro superior del Colegio de Sacerdotes de Roma: pontifex, o constructor de puentes.
