Desde la pandemia, hace más de dos años y medio la vida nos cambió a todos, pasamos del mundo práctico, al mundo virtual, para muchos la dimensión desconocida, para otros visionarios de la tecnología, lo que se veía venir.

 Since the pandemic, more than two and a half years ago, life changed us all, we went from the practical world, to the virtual world, for many the unknown dimension, for other visionaries of technology, what was seen to come.

Tal es el caso de José Miguel Sarmiento, CEO de OfferApp, una plataforma e-commerce para el consumo masivo de productos en oferta; quien en el 2019 y casi que, intuitivamente previendo el auge de la era digital en el mundo, empezó a sumergirse, educar e incluso probar entre sus clientes, la experiencia de cupones digitales con promociones o descuentos de diversas tiendas en espacio únicos e innovadores. 

Such is the case of José Miguel Sarmiento, CEO of OfferApp, an e-commerce platform for the mass consumption of products on offer; who in 2019 and almost intuitively foreseeing the rise of the digital era in the world, began to immerse himself, educate and even test among his customers, the experience of digital coupons with promotions or discounts from various stores in unique and innovative space.

Además de los cupones, la aplicación incorporó también los tickets digitales, para diferentes eventos. A puertas de un mundo más globalizado, donde las transacciones online son los reyes del comercio y hablar de Criptomoneda (el dinero del futuro), es cada vez más común, OfferApp, da un paso más, en el mercado tecnológico.

In addition to coupons, the application also incorporated digital tickets for different events. At the gates of a more globalized world, where online transactions are the kings of commerce and talking about Cryptocurrency (the money of the future), is increasingly common, OfferApp goes one step further in the technology market.

El atractivo de esta iniciativa tiene que ver con el diseño y la experiencia que cada usuario vive a través de las diferentes opciones en cuanto a la búsqueda de productos y/o servicios donde se le incorpora funciones de localización, acumulación de puntos, Marketplace en su página web, entre otros. Complementos que, sin duda, le dan un toque de alta innovación.  

The attractiveness of this initiative has to do with the design and the experience that each user lives through the different options in terms of searching for products and/or services where location functions, accumulation of points, Marketplace are incorporated into their website, among others. Accessories that, without a doubt, give it a touch of high innovation.

En sus inicios, los cupones estaban pensados para restaurantes, actualmente, todos los sectores comerciales podrán gozar de este privilegio.

In its beginnings, the coupons were designed for restaurants, currently, all commercial sectors can enjoy this privilege.

Por ello, el próximo mes de abril, tienen programado hacer un lanzamiento digital en Colombia de la versión 4.0 aplicativo móvil, para los sistemas Android y iOS; mientras que, para Latham y Norteamérica, el lanzamiento se tiene previsto para junio.  

For this reason, next April, they are scheduled to make a digital launch in Colombia of the mobile application version 4.0, for Android and iOS systems; while, for Latham and North America, the launch is scheduled for June.

Según José Miguel Sarmiento, CEO de la organización, ellos, siempre están en pro de maximizar su impacto positivo en la sociedad y el medio ambiente.

“No sólo pensamos en hacer crecer el negocio; nos preocupa lo que pasa en el medio ambiente, somos conscientes de la responsabilidad que tenemos ante la sociedad, por eso, cada iniciativa o proyecto que hacemos lo planteamos bajo la perspectiva de cuál será el impacto positivo que tendrá”. Afirma el ejecutivo.

“We don’t just think about growing the business; we are concerned about what happens to the environment, we are aware of the responsibility we have towards society, for this reason, each initiative or project we carry out is approached from the perspective of what the positive impact it will have”. The executive affirms.

Teniendo en cuenta que de toda la madera tratada para actividades industriales el 40% pertenece a las fábricas de papel, una de las mayores consumidoras de energía y agua en el mundo; la iniciativa de los cupones y tickets digitales, cobra más fuerza e importancia. 

Bearing in mind that of all the wood treated for industrial activities, 40% belongs to paper mills, one of the largest consumers of energy and water in the world; the digital coupons and tickets initiative gains more strength and importance.

Lo más valioso de toda esta implementación no es solo las ganas y el compromiso de la organización, sino también ver el deseo de los clientes, conectarse y ponerse a tono con todos los avances tecnológicos que el mercado está exigiendo, para poder así brindar un servicio de alto nivel.  Por supuesto, el gran ganador: el consumidor final, quien recibe más de lo esperado y además se vuelve más consciente de la importancia del medio ambiente. 

The most valuable aspect of this entire implementation is not only the desire and commitment of the organization, but also to see the desire of the clients, to connect and get in tune with all the technological advances that the market is demanding, in order to provide a service high level. Of course, the big winner: the final consumer, who receives more than expected and also becomes more aware of the importance of the environment.

En resumen, utilizar el ticket digital contribuye a la disminución de la tala de árboles, de los residuos generados en el proceso de fabricación del papel y reducción de las emisiones de CO2.

In summary, using the digital ticket contributes to reducing the felling of trees, the waste generated in the paper manufacturing process and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
