DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: The Juana Inés and Camino Amplio «Fundajica» Foundation recognizes the journalist Ingrid Abreu with the Laurel distinction.

Santo Domingo Este, RD.- «Fundajica» reconoció este domingo a la periodista Ingrid Abreu con la distinción «Laurel» en el renglón Mujer Sobresaliente en la Comunicación, reconocimiento al dinamismo, profesionalidad, laboriosidad, labor comunitaria y alto rendimiento en su trabajo.

Santo Domingo Este, RD.- «Fundajica» recognized this Sunday the journalist Ingrid Abreu with the distinction «Laurel» in the category Outstanding Woman in Communication, recognition of dynamism, professionalism, industriousness, community work and high performance in their work.

El acto presidido por el presidente de «Fundajica» el reconocido locutor dominicano Félix Robles Javier, y en el que además se reconoció a otras destacadas figuras del quehacer dominicano, fue realizado la tarde de este domingo en el gran salón de eventos de la Junta de vecinos de Villa Felicia en San Isidro, y contó con la conducción de su presidente Félix Robles y la destacada periodista Ingrid Abreu.

The act presided over by the president of «Fundajica», the well-known Dominican broadcaster Félix Robles Javier, and in which other prominent figures of Dominican work were also recognized, was held this Sunday afternoon in the large event hall of the Board of residents of Villa Felicia in San Isidro, and was led by its president Félix Robles and the prominent journalist Ingrid Abreu.

Abreu actualmente es productora y conductora del espacio televisivo «Tras Bastidores» que se transmite por Hilando Fino TV todas las mañanas, así mismo es directora del portal digital Corazondigital.net y labora en el departamento de relaciones públicas tanto del Hospital Marcelino Vélez Santana del Ejército de la República Dominicana y del Círculo de Periodistas de las Fuentes Militares.

Abreu is currently the producer and host of the television space «Behind the Scenes» that is broadcast on Hilando Fino TV every morning, she is also the director of the digital portal Corazondigital.net and works in the public relations department of both the Marcelino Vélez Santana Army Hospital of the Dominican Republic and the Circle of Military Sources Journalists.

La joven periodista también es miembro del Colegio Dominicano de Locutores, del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Prensa, de la Federación Internacional de Prensa, de la Sociedad Dominicana de Medios Digitales, entre otros gremios. Así mismo Ingrid Abreu es miembro del Cuerpo de Bomberos en República Dominicana y parte de un grupo de jóvenes Comunicadores que realizan labores sociales en Santo Domingo Oeste #AyudemosSDO.

The young journalist is also a member of the Dominican Association of Announcers, the National Union of Press Workers, the International Press Federation, the Dominican Society of Digital Media, among other unions. Likewise, Ingrid Abreu is a member of the Fire Department in the Dominican Republic and part of a group of young Communicators who carry out social work in Santo Domingo Oeste #AyudemosSDO.
