THE UNDENIABLE CREATIVITY OF ALBERT TORÉS GARCÍA
Albert Torés García nació un viernes 18 de Septiembre de 1959 en el hospital de Port-Royal en París – Francia. Bebé que llegó al mundo en medio de una gran incertidumbre que envolvía su pequeño cuerpecito, al que clínicamente, los médicos le diagnosticaban pocas posibilidades de sobrevivir al punto que recibió en medio de un hondo pesar la extrema unción… Sin embargo, en esta historia la vida invitó al bebé a caminar por su sendero.. Así, el niño fue registrado con el nombre de Albert, y curiosamente según el mismo lo comenta, sus amigos, familiares, alumnos en Francia le llaman Alberto y otras amistades, familia y alumnado en España le llaman Albert. También ostenta varios «motes» o sobrenombres tales como «el abuelo en la adolescencia» o «el melenas en esta nueva etapa», ¡la paradoja siempre!.
Albert Torés García was born on Friday, September 18, 1959 at the Port-Royal hospital in Paris – France. Albert, inició sus estudios de bachillerato en París y los completó en la ciudad de Barcelona – Catalunya España. Se graduó como licenciado en Filosofía y Letras en la Universidad de Málaga y completó los cursos de doctorado de Filología Hispánica en esta misma universidad. Profesionalmente se desempeña como Profesor Agregado de Francés de EE.OO. de Idiomas y como Poeta.
Albert, began his high school studies in Paris and completed them in the city of Barcelona – Catalunya Spain. He graduated with a degree in Philosophy and Letters from the University of Malaga and he completed doctoral courses in Hispanic Philology at this same university. Professionally, he works as Associate Professor of French in the USA. of Languages and as a Poet.
El primer libro que publicó este gran escritor francés fue realizado en una edición rústica sin ISBN que sólo se conoció en un círculo muy restringido, el que se tituló Tríptico del Naufragio de 1979. La presentación más o menos oficial en el panorama poético se produce con su obra La ventana de Lázaro en 1990, que publicó la desaparecida y añorada editorial Canente/Libros, complementando Canente Revista Literaria. La fascinación de Albert por la poesía, la música francesa de Moustaki, Brassens, Brel son innegables, al punto que son precisamente los referentes inspiradores de este poemario. Un primer poemario que contextualiza el ámbito parisino, en definitiva, la memoria que es la sustancia esencial de su obra.
The first book published by this great French writer was made in a paperback edition without ISBN that was only known in a very restricted circle, the one that was titled Triptych of the Shipwreck of 1979. Cabe resaltar que la mayor obra literaria de este escritor francés es en castellano, sus primeras labores profesionales fueron en el idioma francés y su Poesía se enmarca dentro del Humanismo Solidario, pero la crítica más especializada habla de una Generación de Charol. Como escritor, Albert experimentó la métrica, de manera que la décima prolongada, el haiku hispanoamericano incorporando el heptasílabo y el endecasílabo, o el tridecasílabo, verso muy poco común en la lírica española, de ahí que con motivo del Premio Internacional de Rafael Morales, el jurado destacara que forma parte de ese grupo de “los poetas raros ya que amplía el espectro hacia la posmodernidad buscando un mensaje ético manifestado en su lucha de contrarios hacia la síntesis del amor como asunto personal y colectivo”.

Este escritor, participó en proyectos sociales como: Solidaridad, Poetas contra la guerra, Por Palestina. También incursionó en el ámbito político como representante sindical de Comisiones Obreras, y como candidato por Málaga por Izquierda Unida en 2003, 2007 y 2011. Así mismo escribió artículos de opinión en los periódicos Sur y Diario Málaga, entre otros.
This writer participated in social projects such as: Solidarity, Poets Against War, For Palestine. He also ventured into the political sphere as a union representative of workers commissions and as a candidate for Malaga for Izquierda Unida in 2003, 2007 and 2011. He also wrote opinion articles in the newspapers Sur and Diario Málaga, among others.
Ha sido coordinador del Foro de Debate “Otra Málaga es posible.” Albert Torés García escritor e intelectual pero por sobre todo un «creativo», camaleónico tal vez gracias a su versatilidad, la misma que iremos descubriendo en este artículo especial dedicado a él, cuyas obras ya le han sido traducidas al italiano, francés, búlgaro, rumano, alemán, finés y, en prensa, el árabe. Traductor de Blaise Cendrars (El Panamá o la aventura de mis siete tíos, Ed Media Vaca, Valencia, 2003).

Proyecto que fue llevado a cabo en la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Fuengirola de la mano de Marta López de Uralde y Albert Torés García, responsables de la revista Collage. Sinopsis: Stories about daily life that will have the purpose of being able to be inserted in classroom activities in foreign language training, in this case English. Sinopsis: Un ejercicio personal sobre una pluralidad de autores representativos de diferentes promociones poéticas activas. Trasciende el ámbito propiamente antológico para detenerse en una serie de poemarios que han sido de influencia decisiva. Una visión pormenorizada que cuenta con una singular perspectiva: La defensa apasionada de la poesía desde el punto de vista del lector. Antología que tendrá paralelamente una imaginada antología musical. Sinopsis: A personal exercise on a plurality of authors representing different active poetic promotions. It transcends the strictly anthological field to stop at a series of collections of poems that have been of decisive influence. A detailed vision that has a unique perspective: The passionate defense of poetry from the reader's point of view.Anthology that will have an imagined musical anthology in parallel.
POETAS DEL 60 (Una promoción entre paréntesis) / POETAS DEL 60 (A promotion in parentheses)
Sinopsis: Indagar en la poética respectiva de los autores que conformaron esta generación poética del 60, a la vez que mostrar la profundidad de su lírica y la originalidad de sus propuestas estéticas. Los manuales al uso restringían la calidad poética de este grupo en favor de otro grupo, ciertamente sustentado por el poder mediático que simbolizaba José María Castellet. Sin restar méritos a los Novísimos es de justicia literaria confrontar estos poetas del lenguaje. Sinopsis: To inquire into the respective poetics of the authors that made up this 60’s poetic generation, while showing the depth of his lyrics and the originality of his aesthetic proposals. The manuals to use restricted the poetic quality of this group in favor of another group, certainly sustained by the media power that José María Castellet symbolized. Without detracting from the merits of the Novísimos, it is literary justice to confront these poets of language.
